House of Pips š
I greatly appreciate all the love the game is getting, I can't wait to hear what you all think of the boss battles in the full game. I don't want to spoil anything, or over hype them, but if you were planning on playing mostly multiplayer with your friends consider giving the bosses a shot. I've made multiplayer xp transfer over to single player to remove the barriers and make boss battles more accessible to all players.
If you're interested please wishlist to get an update on the release date, I'm planning on announcing it soon, development is near complete on the final boss.

Jamaican Dominoes - Which SLAM Effect Would You Choose? š„
If youāve played Jamaican-style dominoes, you know the SLAM is part of the fun! š„
Different players have their own style, but the strategy, timing, and reactions after a big play make the experience special.
This clip features different takes on the classic domino slam, from Triple Slam and Hyper Slam to Table Bruk and Kick Foot. š„
For those who play dominoes, especially Jamaican or Caribbean styles:
Which slam would you choose, and whatās your favorite dominoes variation - Draw, Block, or Five-Up?
Letās hear it! š

Made a score book for our Mexican Train games so weād stop losing the scraps of paper
We play a lot of Mexican Train, and the score always ended up on whatever scrap of paper was nearby, which then got lost before the next game. So I made a little pocket score book for it.
Each game gets a two-page spread with room for up to 8 players and running totals, so thereās no adding up all 13 rounds at the end. For the cover, I drew a double-12 station hub with trains branching off, and the Mexican Train runs across the spine onto the back.
How do your groups keep score? Does anyone track wins over time, or just the game in front of you?

What if Jamaican-style dominoes had different SLAM effects?š„
One of the things that makes Jamaican dominoes so fun is the slam. š
I came across this take on it in Domino Gwaan Badā¢, where winning plays can trigger different slam effects like Triple Slam, Hyper Slam, Table Bruk, Kick Foot, Foot & Dead, and more.
It also has 12 different slam effects to unlock, so the bigger the win, the more ways you can celebrate it. š„
The game is inspired by Jamaican and Caribbean domino culture and tries to bring some of that table energy into a digital domino experience.
For the Jamaican/Caribbean domino players here: which slam would you pick? š„

I built CeroPleito, a free domino scorekeeper. What would make it useful at your table?
The trash talk can stay. The arguments about the score donāt have to. š
Hey everyone! Iām the developer behind CeroPleito, an app for keeping score when youāre playing dominoes with friends and family.
Itās a scorekeeper for real games around the table not an online domino game.
My goal is to keep it simple enough that recording the score doesnāt interrupt the game.
You can add points with quick buttons or enter a custom amount, correct mistakes without starting over, and keep track of completed games. For those āone more gameā nights, it also tracks series, team wins, and winning streaks.
You can customize team names, set your target score, and choose a color theme. Core scorekeeping works without an internet connection, and you donāt need to create an account.
Itās free to download on iPhone and Android.
Try it before your next game
Visit CeroPleito.comā ļæ¼
thereās a scoring demo you can try right on the website, plus links to download the app.
Or go directly to the App Storeā ļæ¼ or Google Playā ļæ¼.
Help me make it better
Iād love for you to try it for a game and tell me honestly:
1. What felt confusing or took too many taps?
2. Does your group use a scoring rule or format thatās missing?
3. What would make you choose this over paper or your current app?
Feedback about the website is welcome too
Especially anything that makes it hard to understand what the app does.
After trying it, an honest App Store or Google Play review would also mean a lot.
Please describe your actual experience, good or bad. Specific criticism gives me something useful to improve.
How does your group keep score right now: paper, memory, or an app?

I made a two-player Draw dominoes game for PC ā the free Steam demo is now live
Hi everyone ā I'm the developer of Pixel Domino Club.
We've just released a free Windows demo on Steam. It includes two-player Draw dominoes, private rooms for playing with a friend, and a way to check the shuffle record after a hand ends. There are no purchases in the demo.
I'd especially welcome feedback from Draw players on the rules, tile readability and how a full match feels with a friend. This demo focuses on Draw dominoes; it isn't a four-player partnership game.
Choose Download Demo on the store page. Happy to answer questions here!

Thank you for taking the time to try my demo!
At the risk of asking too much, if you could also leave me some honest feedback in the form of a steam review I would greatly appreciate it. Next Fest is coming soon and any feedback would help with me polishing up the demo to be ready for the masses.

Domino Titan - 25% Off
- Classic 6x6, Cuban 9x9, and All Fives. Carefully tuned, ruleset-aware AI opponents.Ā Each ruleset is tuned separately, so the AI does not approach every mode the same way.
- Play directly against your friend, against your friend and AI players, or with your friend against AI partners.Ā A compact friend chat is included.Ā Your friend accepts through Steam and joins the same live board without room codes, lobby IDs, or manual setup.
- Enjoy format-specific rules and options, including a CapicĆŗa bonus in Classic 6x6 and Cuban 9x9, along with All Fives variations such as No Spinner, hand-size changes, and stock-related rules.
- Stable board view designed to preserve spatial awareness instead of constantly reshaping the table shrinking tiles, compressing the table, visually jumping pieces into new positions or rearranging the layout as the chain grows.
- Domino Titan can generate a Friend Challenge code. Send that code to someone else and they can import it from the New Match screen to play the same match setup locally on their own machine.
- Learn during play with short coaching notes from Practice Coach, replay a finished hand or retry it.
- Keep saves, stats, progress, and settings separate for each local player on the same computer.
- Adjust visual, audio, and interface settings to match the way you like to play, and switch between English and Spanish.
Try the Demo

I built a free Cuban Double-9 domino game to play online with friends
Iāve been looking for a good way to play Cuban Double-9 dominoes online with friends, and eventually I decided to build my own.
Itās called CapicĆŗa.
Itās still a work in progress, but the actual game is playable now. You can play Cuban Double-9 online with other people, create private tables for friends, or play Solo against bots. I tried to make it feel like the dominoes I grew up around rather than just taking a generic domino game and changing the set to Double-9. Iād really like some domino players to try it and tell me what feels right, what feels wrong, or what Iām missing, especially rules/gameplay details. You can play it directly in your browser:
capicua.lol
English and Spanish are both available.
If anybody gets a few games in, Iād genuinely love the feedback. And if you find something broken, definitely tell me.

Jamaican & Caribbean dominoesš„
A look at Domino Gwaan Badā¢, inspired by the way dominoes are played across Jamaica and the Caribbean.
Classic gameplay, competitive matches, different table environments, and of course the satisfying SLAM. š„
The goal is to bring some of that Jamaican and Caribbean domino culture and atmosphere into a digital domino experience.
For anyone who plays Jamaican-style dominoes - how does this compare to the way you play?

42 proof of concept
Posted a feature showcase for my caribbean domino app yesterday and a couple users asked if I could make 42. I don't play 42, but after a few tutorials it seems to be a mashup of two card games (spades/all fours) I have already made engines and assets for - but with dominoes. So I made a rough first pass.
Still a ways off from a finished game.

A tribute to my Nana...
My Nana was a very special woman in my life. She taught me how to play dominoes when I was a kid and we would play every time I went to visit. Needless to say the game holds a very special place in my heart, and I've finally gotten around to making a game as a tribute to her. Balatro was obviously a huge inspiration in the play style, but the rules are based on Five Up dominoes, with perks and a skill tree to add some flavor. I'd love to hear what you all think of it, I've got a demo that should be released in the next week.

Caribbean Domino - What would you play?
Added a new daily feature to sixlove. It's a "What would you play?" puzzle where we replay a game (from games played by real people) and you have to choose the only winning move from 3 dominoes. The cutthroat version has you choose your winning line and the partner version has you choose the line that wins for either you or your partner.
The puzzles are available in app, but the web version is also fully interactive and playable. E.g. https://sixlove.app/what-would-you-play/?puzzle=ea9e1f21856a9d718ee479d8

Question about a Mexican Train rule
Hopefully this is the correct sub to ask:
I got the game as a present and play this with my wife, sister and her husband. We having a lot of fun but there is one rule that is quite unclear for us:
When a player wasnāt able to play his first domino and keeps failing to do so, is he/she still allowed to attach a domino on one of the Mexican train?
Some rules say you can do this, but some other clearly state that you first have to have played at least one domino on your own track.
My feelings say that you should always be able to attach to the Mexican train, as a player can be completely crippled for the rest of the games to make up for the huge influx of points he gets.
Hopefully some of you can shed some light on this!

Dominoes variations by region?
So, a while back I heard a Balkan relative of mine is a pretty good dominoes gambler, and then recently I saw an old black-and-white picture of some Iraqi men playing dominoes in Baghdad. To be honest, I grew up thinking dominoes was mostly a Latin American thing!
Looking at the Wikipedia pages, there are just so many variations, and not much word on which ones are played where. Other times, there'll be notes that 3 or 4 variations are played in a country - say Jamaica - but when I look into Jamaican dominoes clubs or grups, they don't name the variation. So is there a standard game played worldwide, is it just absolutely everyone doing their own thing, what? If I could get a breakdown of what variation(s) are popular in whch broad regions, it'd be much appreciated.
