My buddy and I want to trade with each other but he is pc and I’m ps5. Is anyone about to help by getting the gear from him on PC and then trading to me on Ps5 please? Would be very appreciated.
EDIT- I was told if someone owns the copy of Diablo 2 on both PC and PlayStation that they have cross save between the two. So if you need something traded you can find someone who owns both copies and they can mule it.

Just wondering if it'd be worth slapping one of the runewords I need for completion in here. Ty!

Has anyone else gotten a rune from Wirt? Is it possible? I wish I had a video of it but I remember popping his body, opening a portal mid gold, grabbed the leg. I was about to go through the portal and decided to collect the rest of the gold. About 1.5 seconds after all the gold dropped, he dropped a Ral. Am I crazy?

I always thought −% Enemy Poison Resistance only increased the damage rate. Turns out it also reduces the monster's Poison Length Reduced — and most monsters have 0 PLR, so the −% extends poison duration by the same amount.
So against a monster with 0% poison resist, a perfect Death's Web (−50%) means:
• damage rate ×1.5
• poison duration ×1.5
• total poison damage ×2.25 (if the poison runs its full duration)
That's why a −50% roll is ~15% stronger than a −40% one in total damage (2.25 vs 1.96), not just 10 points better.
A few related things I didn't know:
• It only works if the monster is below 100% resist — Death's Web can't break immunity on its own.
• Any level of Lower Resist breaks 100% and 105% poison immunity, 110% needs level 10+, and above 113% no Lower Resist can do it.
• It's applied when the poison lands — swapping to Death's Web after the target is already poisoned does nothing.
Did you know about the duration part? Does it change how you value Death's Web vs HotO for a Poison Necro?

So I just picked up a Superior 3os Sacred Armor with 15% enhanced defense. I'm pretty stoked, but now I'm not so sure how useful it is for any of my characters. I play warlock, sorc, and assassin. So... low strength builds. at most I will invest about 156-163 into strength.
So the obvious choice is to throw this thing on my merc. But... I need 4 sockets for fortitude. The only other option I can think of is treachery... but I hate treachery. It's god awful. The only time I use it is to proc fade before I switch armor and go kill some ubers. I don't want to use a sacred armor for that though.
So what else? Duress maybe? Doesn't seem like a great choice when I can easily get the affixes in a weapon and use chains or fortitude instead.
Please suggest some ways that I can make full use of this gear. Preferably suggestions that don't include "roll a barb".

I believe I am getting a little bit better with judging value.
I think these have at least some value due to mid FRW, FHR and double +30 res. Maybe not Jah-level or anything like that but maybe Vex-ish? Can anybody confirm? Any interest?

I have fun thinking of new classes and such. Don't hate me!
The Smith focuses around enhancing weapons innate abilities. He can even reroll items once, potentially discovering secret effects!
One of his skill trees would be based entirely around enhancing these effects, boosting the various types of elemental damage, enhancing the stat buffs on items, and so on.
One set of skills, most notably, would revolve around improving CHARGED weapons. He could regenerate charges, increase the total number of available charges by a flat amount, increase the cast rate of charged weapons MASSIVELY, and increase their skill level as well. Imagine turning a pair of gloves of level 4 firebolt into a level FORTY firebolt?(without any synergies, mind you). Not only that, imagine that the FCR is so high that you can cast like every single frame? Imagine it casts SO fast that it becomes actively difficult to control teleport because if you hold the button down you'll teleport 24 times in a second? That's the sort of hilarity I'm envisioning here. Alternatively, imagine unloading an entire item's worth of charges on a boss in 2-3 seconds? Suddenly, a weapon like a Hellrack could become a certified boss killer!
Then he'd have a set of skills built around boosting the elemental damage on weapons. For the Smith, you wouldn't do that much raw melee damage with your weapons, you'd prefer to do elemental damage with them instead. These buffs could be disproportionately large because the elemental damage on weapons is a pretty small component towards the endgame. A weapon like a Djinni Slayer could be really strong for him, especially due to the next part!
He would also have a tree based on turning weapons INTO minions! He could summon spectral scimitars, like the ones found in act 2, as well as other similar weapons. He could also give actual item weapons will, sorta like an Iron Golem. The key difference is that their health is their durability, and as they attack they gradually lose durability until they die. WHEN they die, these weapons would drop onto the ground and be recoverable, but they would be broken and need to be repaired. But when you equip one of these weapons, it gets slowly repaired instead of damaged as you use it, so you could cycle through to keep them active! You could imagine carrying like 5 djinni slayers, enhancing their massive fire damage, and using one at a time to keep them topped up!
Not really sure what his third tree should be, tbh. I know that he should have an 'appraisal' skill where you can basically use it on a magic or white weapon and it'll reroll it with the chance for it to become a rare, set, or unique item, sorta like horking but more specialized(the premise being that it's secretly more powerful than it looks, maybe it's just really old and needs to be refreshed to bring out its full power). Maybe the last one should be focused on armor and stats instead of weapons? It would be neat if you could boost the stat buffs on armor to make runewords like Lionheart more potent.
Obviously, he should be especially adept at using hammers!
Anyway, just having a fun time theorycrafting. Input welcome!
