This handsome fellow was chasing does in the backyard last night around dusk. I live in the PNW on the strait of Juan de Fuca.

omg lol I had no idea they were laying down on the other side of my truck. Was bagging a wasp nest on our shed. Turned around and they all stood up

so with how dark it really is…. yesterday I shined that nice buck, with 2000 lumens. This pic is obviously way less, and a smaller buck. Now because you can’t even see any antlers - this light leaves room for debate if he’s really even a he.

Is This Antler Rubbing? (2 angles)

1.) It is the rut season here in New England - is this the rubbing I hear so much about?

2.) How lucky am I that this thing did not destroy that camera an inch above his antlers?

Can anyone help identify this stag?

Video taken early morning in the Herefordshire/Shropshire area - recently moved here and wondered what these noises were until I spotted this! Often hear these noises at night. Local area is a mix of woodland, open fields and dense bracken.

Also came across what looked like a small family of deer on the lane the other night but not quick enough to take a picture - medium/large size, reddish coat and white tails.

Would be very interested to know who this fine gentleman is - from looking online I'm wondering if it's a Sika or Fallow?
