I want to TR my paladin and try bows for a change, as I only did melee and spells.

I'd like to go with a Falconry War Soul Pure Silverflame Fvs. The utility granted by the spells is nice, and and more importantly because I scale wisdom, my spells should be able to CC pretty well.

My target is to get to max level on Legendary on Elite difficulty, no raids or such.

Would I be griefing myself?

What are the best Bows to level with? Im assuming the ones from The Night Revels are good at certain levels?

Haihai, good evening everybody. So, i'm dabbling a bit in the new HC event, and i made a Dwarf Blightcaster as a second character just so i have something extremely foolproof, but what i really wanna play is a Artificer.

Mainly, i just wanna play a non-complicated foolproof Arti with crossbows, be them repeaters or not. I have access to several goodies from the codes over the years, but i don't play DDO extensively so i don't have access to Harper Agent for instance:

I know that it's either HA or 6 levels of Rogue for hit to damage with Int, and i'm open to both Gnome or Warforged ( Gnome is my fav race, and i'm really interested in Warforged lately ). Other than that, no tomes and a 32p build, assume f2p with some codes tacked on ( so basically i have access to several old quest packs and stuff, got the Bigby one and have saltmarsh now too ).

Been trying to get a arti build going but most posts on the forum are from before the new balance changes or require HA, or are complicated multiclasses.

Anyway, i'm asking for a build, please. I thank you all in advance, deeply appreciate it.

PS: Is it worth full pure Arti even without Int to hit? Should i go for 2 levels of Barb for movespeed + BT? If 6 levels of Rogue, should i go AT instead? I'm always willing to learn more about the game. Thanks!

Edit: I'm a solo player, i rarely if ever play with parties.

I'm asking because my guild's leader and most of the officers haven't logged on for over a month, and the guild's active player count has been slowly decreasing for weeks. Can a guild lose levels through loss of favor? I play solo, so I'm concerned about buffs primarily. (I do contribute platinum and shards and extra favor, so as not to be a leech).

Anyone know if this has gone live yet?

I just hit 4th with a Warforged Wizard. Should I be using an Orb like the Nicked Orb in my off hand, or carrying a Shield?

Whats the deal with the Items with little red "x's?" My hardcore character can equip them. Do they just now work unless they say Court of Strahd?

Ok so I got my oldest to try the game now, he downloaded the game and the new code worked. That is awesome BTW.

I tried to send him some plat and it keeps saying that his character doesn't exist. I made sure to log in on his too and run around Korthos a bit so it is an existing toon.

Problem is I can't send it mail. Can't add as a friend on my main either, says he doesn't exist. Anyone encounter that?

There is a new event starting up until 2/14/27. The skull version is only accessible to new characters and ends when the character dies. Gear dropped before today is not usable with that latern. It seems like a hardcore-like experience. The seems goal is to hunt randomly appearing enemies as well as interactables at fixed locations. This is weird because i have been playing normally before, i was off for like a month at most, but didnt change any settings or anything like that, but now its saying this and wont let me open the game. Does anyone know a fix?

Me and my buddy Legion are getting back into DDO after about 6 years away, and we're looking for a few more people to join us. We occasionally have other friends playing, but it's mostly just the two of us right now.

We're not really interested in rushing through quests, following the meta, or treating everything like an XP farm. We'd rather take our time, explore dungeons, experiment with builds, and actually enjoy the content instead of running past half of it.

We're also interested in trying some less popular content, messing around with unusual strategies, and eventually attempting raids with just our own little group, even if we're horribly underprepared and get our asses kicked. That's half the fun.

New players, returning players, and veterans are all welcome! We don't mind teaching people what we know or figuring things out together. We're relearning quite a bit ourselves, so we're certainly not experts.

We're on Pacific time, usually playing on our days off around 7 AM–12 PM, sometimes 5 PM–midnight, depending on how our schedules fall. We also hop on at random times throughout the week.

We're pretty laid-back. Sometimes we're talking, joking around, and having a good time, while other times we get really focused on what we're doing and barely say a word. We're not expecting constant conversation, just people who enjoy hanging out and playing together.

Discord and a decent mic are preferred, mainly so we can communicate without a bunch of background noise.

We also play plenty of other PC games, including PoE, SPT, Minecraft, 7 Days to Die, and more. We host our own servers, occasionally make mods, and have a RuneScape private server in the works. But DDO is what we're focusing on right now.

We're not trying to build some massive guild or organize scheduled raids every week. Just hoping to find a few more regular people who enjoy a slower-paced DDO experience and might become long-term gaming friends.

Found the Pledge II Mists zone in the area of Total Chaos (end of Keep on the borderlands), open cavern north of rest shrine. BE CAREFUL if you're on Hardcore, the boss on R1 is CR9 surrounded by CR8 blackbones, and a giant skeleton in the water near the Heart.

So since the patch dropped today, all the gear I'm getting has "The Court of Strahd" as an item effect. It just generically says it dropped during the lantern event but.... what does it actually DO? There can't just be a meaningless tag on the items here, and I haven't found anything on the forums or the release notes that indicates what it means.

A few days ago, when I first opened DDO, all of the usernames were gone from the drop down menu. Then, after I logged in to everybody and rolled on a few servers, I realized that there were now repeats of the same username in the drop down menu, for multiple accounts. It's really annoying me. Has anyone ever experienced this before, and if so, how can I fix this? Please help; it's driving me batty.

For a couple of days now, I almost drop a mortal weapon per quest, mostly in the quest rewards.

It is definitely not luck : I know how long I need to play to found one, and 7 in 4 quests is too much.

Do you experience the same abnormal drop as me ? (Moonsea)

So i started a new character recently, a human male custom fighter, and almost immediately started getting some pretty good drops for him. Deathblock hide, a good shield, a decent scimitar, and even pretty decent set of armor, that actually looked pretty good. Pretty damn good drops for a brand new character in the starting zone of snowfall korthos

I'm attempting to create a second account to help with loot pulls.

The sign-up page keeps telling me my password isn't acceptable. It is within all the parameters (between 8-15 characters, alphanumeric characters including letters and numbers). When i click "create account" I also get an error that says my birthdate is invalid. What is going on?

about to TR into a wiz, curious about targets these days.

By cap (36?), what should I realistically be aiming for with

- Int

- Illusion School (will be going for instakills with pk)

- Enchantment School (for otto and mass hold)

- Necromancy School (for FoD and Wail)

- Spell Pen

Not looking for uber everything, just what would be a realistic target and viable for running R6-R8 (working towards R10 but still cant solo there)

With the new pseudo Hardcore upon us, if anybody even cares about the rewards, what would be some good Hardcore builds to use? Have any of the older Hardcore builds changed enough with the latest update that they would no longer work, or need some tweaking? Has the latest update created any new builds for Hardcore?

What do you guys think?

I went down the mindcleaver route after terror had dropped 18 barb/1fight/1fvs but i feel like my survivability is a bit lack luster at times, im not following any build in particular but looking for some modifications to increase it, and damage is ok. I have 2 stormisinger, 1 pally, 1 rogue, 3 gnome and 1 half elf past lives. I cant post the enhancement or destiny pictures for some reason..
