I just wanted to try and make the gi more yellow, but then got carried away :P missed my bus stop because of that

Thought I'd share some art from my early years of being a fan of dragon ball. I made it in class when it was painting day & we only had been provided with the 3 primary colours along with black & white so i had to make do with what i remembered seeing on the VHS my parents had rented for me the week prior

It's funny how most of my favorite characters are the ones that don't really do much, yet they're so endearing!

Did Gohan deserve this?

What do you guys think ?

I’ve been thinking about where Dragon Ball goes from here now that Toriyama isn’t with us anymore.
I think Super should end with the Black Frieza arc and eventually lead into End of Z. Anything that takes place after that should be a new series with a different name.

Dragon Ball, Z, Daima and Super all had Toriyama’s involvement, and I think Super taking place within Z rather than after it is quite significant. I also feel like this is pretty intentional, especially with Daima. Both Super and Daima were made long after Z ended, yet Toriyama still chose to explore that period before End of Z rather than go beyond it. Obviously idk if that was actually his intention, but I find it interesting that End of Z has remained untouched as the final point in the timeline of the stories he was directly involved in.

To me End of Z should remain the conclusion of Toriyama’s era of Dragon Ball. If they want to go beyond that point, which I definitely think they should, I’d rather they give it a new identity to distinguish what he had a contribution in from what comes after.

I’m not saying Toyotaro shouldn’t continue Dragon Ball or that it can’t be good without Toriyama. I just think it’d be a nice way to respect his legacy while also giving the people continuing the series more freedom to take it in their own direction.
Super could wrap up with Black Frieza, maybe give us some more glimpses of things like Great Saiyaman X1 and X2 to set up a new series and then eventually connect back to End of Z.

I also think going past Z could have a pretty drastic effect on the characters and the direction of the story, so it’d make sense to separate that from Super anyway.

Obviously this is just how I’d like to see it handled, but I think it’d be a fitting way to close out Toriyama’s era while still allowing Dragon Ball to continue.

My take on Goku when he first transformed into a Super Saiyan.

What if a facehugger got a hold of Goku and out came a xenomorph how powerful would that xenomorph baby be and would it be stopped?

References included anime key frames of her neck breaking kick and several impact shots, most notably of Frieza getting blasted. For her physique I referenced the proportions of Olympic weightlifters Hsi Hun Scheung and Olivia Reeves. For the bloody face I combined details of Goku post Vegeta fight and Videl near the end of her fight. Not satisfied with the head proportions and need finishing but I'm happy with how these are going so far

They are very interesting and kind of unique with what the creator were doing. I dig it a lot and he has videos on their biology on YT if u type the name "speculative wildlife research center".

Behold! The Strongest Candy collection of Dragon Ball, Vegito! Am I missing any card or sticker of Vegito in the form?

First time carving pumpkins in a couple of years, so I had to try and carve out the GOATs

I know a lot of people have been talking about the rumors that the super ranked will go back to goku black and ToP after the galactic patrol saga and how it doesn't make sense for a continuity standpoint to get new fans in.

I had the thought that the reason they might be doing this is because the adaptations are gping to be more based on the Manga arcs (similar to what the current super: beerus has been doing).

The Manga does veer off significantly from the original anime in these arcs, and because of this, they would have to animate fairly large new chunks of the series, rather than small touch ups and quick scenes, which will take them a lot longer to adapt than the current anime airing. Meanwhile theyve probably had the galactic patrol saga in development for a few years (likely before the adaptation of super began).

Trying again since mods didn’t give me an answer at all as to what rule I broke.

Hand dyed. Original plan was Elfuda but my ADHD decided “no” last minute so…

Gonna wear this to a theme park for their Halloween Haunt. “Disneybound”ing it since we (adults) can’t wear full cosplays and I wasn’t planning to anyways. Means I’ll wear an outfit directly inspired by Trunks.

Surprised at the color I was able to get. Color is 1/2 indigo all purpose (Rit) with about maybe 1/4 purple? Idk. Jacket’s a random white cropped denim I found off Amazon. You can tell I dyed it with the small white/faded patches but overall it looks solid.

Hand-drawn Goku fan art. Some characters transcend fiction and become immortal in pop culture. Goku is one of them. 🔥

Battle of Gods movie vs original DBS anime vs DBS Beerus anime. Gotta say, DBS Beerus definitely takes the cake in my opinion.

This took SO LONG to make, stayed up till 4 am for the past 3 nights.
