Ronnie rocket Spanish Translation
Hi fellas! It's been a long time since the last ronnie rocket post, but with the excuse that they were going to edit the script of unrecorded night for the public, I became obsessed with the idea of having my own book with the Ronnie Rocket script, this project being one of the biggest losses in terms of unpublished Lynch projects.
Bc I'm from Spain, I started translating it for my own reading.
It's been days of hard work translating it, but I think I'm getting closer to a good spanish version.
I have the same pdf format with the original script
I hope you guys like it!!!

What is the deeper meaning behind this scence
In the scene, he asks Pete if he likes porno. Pete is Fred’s character or actually, Pete is Fred’s character. We know that Mr Eddy was asking Pete/Fred/the mystery man/Mr Eddy/ Dick Laurant/ Renee / Alice if he likes pornos. But there has got to be a deeper spiritually meaning, perhaps the philosophy that life itself is a porno film but how does this link to the film’s deeper Lynchian message about the affect that the atomic bomb had on the Kafkaesque dentist office we call reality? And how does this relate to David Foster Wallace?

From r/Heathcliff
I would love for this to be real, but I don't know. In any case, Heathcliff's surreal turn over the last decade somehow causes this to make sense, and I'm sure Eraserhead Baby was having fun.

I found a sealed Eraserhead dvd 2000. It'll be part of my Halloween season double feature
I thought it was cool that I found a sealed Eraserhead dvd for a good price. Mr. Chicken completes the double feature night.

11 years later I finally understood
youtube.comWhen I saw this interpretation of the road rage scene in Lost Highway I thought to myself "man, this David Lynch fellow really takes his art seriously".
Then, I saw True Romance.
It has been on my watchlist for a while and after reading a couple of reviews (10/10; best film of all time), I expected something in between Paris Texas and Natural Born Killers. Half an hour in and my watchmate is googling if this film was satire. Every now and then we look at each other unsure if we're shocked or just confused. I'm still not sure if this whole film was a joke we didn't get.
Is True Romance supposed to be cool or is it a Spider-Man 3 "what the uncoolest person ever thinks is cool" situation? Is the racism supposed to be cool a critique of racism? Why are there more N-bombs than black actors? How am I supposed to think about a person who gives his dog the name of a Nazi general.
Why are so many (white) people discussing the Hopper-Walken scene as one of the best of all time. "He realises he's dead, so he goes out on his terms and makes a Mafioso so angry he kills after decades." His own terms were being a racist one final time. His last hurrah is calling people the N-word.
Is it cool to tell your dad how the wife tastes or to see him french her? Is it supposed to be dream logic that every character says and does stupid shit? Why is Slater's peace of mind worth nothing? Why does Arquette act like a call girl as a joke shortly after the trauma of her 4 days of work led to a murder and all that. Is the sex supposed to be that sleazy?
The longer the film went on, the more I understood the pure hatred Robert Loggia had on screen.
Am I a moron who doesn't understand Tarantino and Scott's geniuses? Or is the raging anger I feel for those two normal under such circumstances.

Where can I watch Darkened Room (2002)
I have been trying to find where to watch this without buying a 50 dollar copy of Dynamic:01 for a bunch of short films i have already seen. I find it odd this is a property that has been taken down everywhere since it isn’t available to be viewed in any practical way. any help is appreciated.

Any recommendations based on these films?
Hi im curious about Lynch's filmography. I have watched eraserhead and I loved it and i own and love lost highway. I also seen what did Jack do, i don't count that since its a shortfilm. I have not watched twin peaks which i know is what he is known for but I really like Lost highway and wondering where to go next? mulholland drive peaks my interest so does blue velvet.

Jose Ferrer in Dune and Lawrence of Arabia - coincidence?
Do you think David Lynch cast Jose Ferrer in Dune as the emperor because of his role as the Turkish general in Lawrence of Arabia? After seeing Lawrence of Arabia for the first time recently it's pretty obvious it was an inspiration for Frank Herbert.

Mulholland Drive 25th Anniversary
I caught a screening at Toronto's Bloor Cinema in 2001.
Went with a couple new art school friends, and I was the only one who loved it. Still do. 25 years later.

A Lynch-inspired videoclip directed by J. A. Bayona in 2000
Hi everyone. I hope you will enjoy this.
OBK is a synth-pop Spanish duo that was quite popular in the 2000's. One of their biggest hits was "Tú sigue así" ("Keep going like that").
The videoclip of the song was directed in 2000 by J. A. Bayona (director of "the Orphanage", "Society of the Snow", etc.). It is obviously inspired by "Lost Higway", as you can see.
I almost forgot about this song for years but somehow it popped in my head again a few days ago.
I realize that the music is not very Lynchian, not very atmospheric, but i't a good song anyway.
The song is about someone talking to a friend in a "what-are-you-doing-with-your-life" kind of way. I added a link also to the lyrics, translated into English. Enjoy.
