Not a huge deal, and this is a petty post, but this felt like a gratuitous head shake.

I'm stopped to let the ppl on the right go, I gave them a nod, but then as I see they decided not to cross, I barely let my foot off the brake pedal when a guy who literally walked up from diagonally behind my vehicle, pops in front of my bumper inches from my car after I start moving. He's wearing all black and coming from where a tree casts a shadow from behind my car until the last second. I instantly react, but then he gives me a head shake as though I'm just barrelling through the lot. I may be in the wrong here, but I know if I was the one on foot, I wouldn't sneak in front of someone's car and then act indignant just cause they started to inch and then immediately stopped.

Was doing 40 in a 40 in the right lane on the way to work. They speed off after and took the next exit.

Looked like they had a kid unbuckled in the back. Can’t see very well on cam but after I honked they popped up (visible right as they finish merging) and were moving around the backseat (not visible on camera) This made me 100 times more upset and I really wanted to try to catch up after to get proof for the police but that’s almost never a good idea. Getting cutoff was whatever, flinched a little and tapped the brakes but buckle up your damn kids.

Given that it's a popular ask, why don't manufacturers just allow for them to exist.

I'm beginning my research down the dashcam rabbit hole and wondering if it's possible to have a front view camera, a rear view camera and a cabin view camera. Are there any (ideally, budget friendly) setups with that or would I need a dual channel for front and cabin view and then a separate dashcam for a rear view camera?

Any recommendations for a dashcam with a built in battery and easy release?

Not looking for massive specs, gps and wifi would be nice. Two way not essential but nice.

Battery needs to last 90-180 mins.

A few months ago, I first got to know about DDPAI dashcams when a few friends and family asked me to install a dashcam in their cars. Fast forward today, experimenting with the DDPAI Z90 Max from Lasfit. What most interested me is that it has a Sony Starvis 2 IMX678 sensor for the front and IMX675 for the rear. Their 4G LTE module is pretty good, too. Will do a more in-depth review in the coming weeks. But for now checkout the highlights of what the module offers:

Hey guys! I have a 2021 Honda Accord Touring and I'm trying to find the best setup for my Uniden R8w and dashcam.

Which option (A, B, or C) would you recommend for the best radar performance and cleanest look?

I can use Uniden's original premium suction mount, the smaller dual suction cup mount, or buy a rearview mirror mount like in Option C.

I've watched some of Vortex Radar's videos, so I feel like Option B could be a good choice.

If you could share pictures of your setups, that would be awesome! I'd love some ideas.

And yes, I'll definitely hide and organize the cables lol. I'm just testing different positions before the final installation!

Hardly anyone follows the turn lines in this intersection by my appartment. Probably could have driven a bit more defensively, but I did not expect him to try and cut in front of me due to his blinker being for the turn, not the merge. Luckily he barely missed making contact with my car.

I've been wanting to get a dashcam since you never know with some of the dumb drivers on the road.

I'm between a used but practically new insta 360 x4 for $300 or a VIOFO A119 Mini 2 for $130. Oh and the parking mode is nice.

I like the VIOFO for it's size and price and it was designed to be a dash cam first.

I do like the 360 ability, but it's quite a bit taller and I feel I would notice it more. I would sure think it's alot better image quality, but it also costs 3 time as much.

What do you think is better? Spending a bit more on the 360 or or will the VIOFO be fine.

I don't think it changes much, but it will be going in my 1996 lexus ls400.

Long shot but did anyone record a car running over a fire extinguisher, it exploding and hitting the side of my car?
It totaled my car and it would be a life saver if I had video of that car hitting it.
