Do professors ever cancel an afternoon lab the day before Thanksgiving? Thanks.

Hi — I would appreciate your thoughts on these points because I am really confused with the directions on the CWRU website-
I am thinking of applying to the Case Western nursing program.
The website notes the university admits students to the university rather than a specific major  ( with the exception of nursing and music).
What happens if I list nursing as my second choice in my application?
Will I still secure a seat in the program, or must I apply for a transfer a year later?

Are you a college upperclassman, recent graduate, or early-career professional (ages 18–30) living in Northeast Ohio? Do you feel challenged by the current job market, inflation, or the rising cost of living?

I am conducting a series of brief phone/zoom interviews to understand how young adults in the region view their economic future and the traditional concept of the "American dream." This is for an upcoming story in Crain's Cleveland Business.
