I work closing shifts at a supermarket, so I usually get home at around 11:30 PM. Nothing abnormal has really happened and I never believed in cryptids or anything. About 15-20 minutes ago I was driving home and I drove past this small patch of woods that always gave me an uneasy feeling about it, I felt like something in there was dangerous and unnerving, but this was when I was a kid. When I drove past this patch of woods today I saw about 30 feet in front of me a white grayish figure standing on two legs with no arms and the legs got thicker the further up they got and they curved underneath its slender head. I blinked and it vanished, I only saw it for a split second and I’m just brushing it off as being tired after a 7 hour shift. I live in a suburban central Florida town and there’s a lot of scattered woods around me, the city north of me is very well known for mothman.

Ok, so we live next to the woods, a mountain, river and reservoir in the northeast US. I’ve collected rocks 🪨 for years from hikes in the rainforests of Central America and placed them in my backyard. Little by little they disappeared over the years, so I assumed it was the grounds maintenance people who were stealing my rocks.

Recently, we went away on a 3-week family vacation and when we returned, I went to feed the squirrels and chipmunks and was shocked to see all the rocks piled up around a tree! There are like 50 rocks of various sizes all under the tree. 🌳 the question is why? And why now??? What could this mean? Anyone else experience something this weird? Could it actually be a Bigfoot? 🫈 or something else?

Everybody is so focused on the creature but the Man on the Horse scene is more telling.

The first part is the original and the second is slowed down. The third part is the Official PGF scan of Patricia Patterson's copy by Evans, published on his official "Capturing Bigfoot" YT channel.

1. A pretty defined object appears above the rider's leg (in the yellow circle) that doesn't appear later.

It's not a part of his rain coat so what is it and where did it go ?

2) The left hind horse's leg ends up on the right side of the horse. Later the horses hind legs are all twisted.

It's not the motion blur because it's on the frames that are more clear. Later you can see in the original PGF that even with the moving camera things don't get this blurry.

Twisted limbs and hallucinated objects are basically the landmarks of AI video screw ups.

3) Inconsistent frame rate.

Slowing down the original PGF gives an unmistakable steady pace of changing frames. The camera is never perfectly still so each frame change is clearly seen. In this film, you have a pattern of 3 short frames followed by a long frame. You can see it in the slowed down part between the parts with circled artifact because those were obviously made longer so you can see the artifacts, or you can check it for yourself. You need to slow it down to 5-10%.

I don't know how this would happen with the camera Patterson did the PGF and it doesn't happen with the PGF so this points at AI fakery.

In addition:

Why is the video of the rider so short ? A possible answer is because when you want the AI to fake it you need to keep it short to avoid AI tells.

Everybody says it's Bob Gimlin. You literally can't tell from this how blurry it is from like 10 feet distance.

Why is the camera so shaky ? The only time the PGF gets this shaky is when Patterson jumps off of the horse but here he's standing in place here so what is he doing, jumping up and down like a lunatic ? Think about it for a moment.

Shaky picture also makes it harder to see the AI fakery.

Transferring AI to a celluloid film has already been done so it's far from impossible. They claim it's filmed on Kodachrome but Kodachrome was famous for its colors, this looks nothing like the Kodachrome colors of the original PGF, just see the last part, and regardless of what's on the film, the original PGF bears no resemblance to this footage.

PGF looks very clean and this looks like AI slop it is.

Bill Munns also said the creature in PGF is real, after much examination, but you wouldn't believe him so why would you believe him about a film he briefly saw from Evans' hands ? At this point what Munns say is far from the hard fact.

I find it interesting since we found more Subspecies of Apeman around the world and some accounts seen different Cryptids (like Wendigo and Cupacapra) as Apemen too

My old coworker, Dan [SURNAME REDACTED], once told me a story that he claimed was the main reason he refused to celebrate Halloween. He presented it as a chilling cautionary tale. The story was so completely bizarre and its supposed moral was such a non-sequitur utterly disconnected from anything that happened in it (aside from the date the story supposedly occurred on) that I've never forgotten it.

Just to be clear, this is not a piece of creative writing or a creepypasta. Dan legitimately told me this story with conviction in his eyes. He really seemed to take it seriously. The story has only survived as oral tradition for only a decade since he first told me. But now I have resolved to commit it to writing.

He called it The Story of the Schwitzwald (ie. the Schwarzwald, or Black Forest, in Germany).

According to Dan, there was once a family traveling through Germany on a road trip to visit relatives. It was the night of October 31st, Halloween, and they were driving along a rural highway when they encountered a road closure. With no other option, they were forced to take a detour through the Schwitzwald.

The forest was enormous, and as they drove deeper into it, the road became increasingly isolated. It was very late in the evening, pitch black outside, and there wasn't another vehicle or person anywhere in sight.

Then, somewhere partway through the forest, their car suddenly broke down.

The father got out with a flashlight, opened the hood, and began inspecting the engine, trying to figure out what had gone wrong. His wife and their two children remained inside the car, waiting for him to finish.

Several minutes passed. The father was still outside, and the family sat quietly in the car, surrounded by darkness.

Then, without warning, they heard a tremendous thumping noise coming from directly above them on the roof of the car outside.

THUMP. THUMP. THUMP.

It sounded as though someone was standing on the roof of the car, repeatedly striking it with a heavy mallet.

THUMP. THUMP. THUMP.

Terrified and completely bewildered, the mother and children scrambled out of the vehicle to see what was making the noise.

And there, standing on the roof of their car, was a hideous creature, something that appeared to be half man and half ape.

It had murdered the father, torn off his head, and was now casually dribbling his severed head against the roof of the car like a basketball.

And that, according to Dan, is why you should never celebrate Halloween.

(Western WA state) My mom and I were coming home ~9:30 pm the other night, going down the gravel driveway to the house. We live a bit out there in the woods, so there's a few other houses along this driveway; we had almost passed the neighbor's house, maybe 200 ft from our house when we saw this thing.
My mom slowed down because there was this strange obscurity in the middle of the road, lit up by the headlights. It's very hard to explain, as it made no sense visually... it was maybe ~4 ft tall or so, just this strange looking moving greyish thing in the road, heading toward the left. For a split moment it almost looked like a moving shadow, but there was no overhead light... again, it made absolutely no sense visually. It's like it was transparent, but we could see it, and it was moving in a way that didn't make sense.

Then, as it went toward the woods on the left, we could see the outline of its hind quarters; it's like it became smaller at this point, about the size of a (big) dog. It didn't necessarily look like a transparent dog, but it had similar leg shape to a dog. This is very bizarre and unbelievable, but we could see right through this thing's shape, except for these visible stripes on its back legs. We couldn't really see the rest of the body, but we could see the 'outline' of the legs, and the stripes, as it went into the woods.

As my mom described it, it looked like the Predator camouflage from the movie! It's almost as if whatever it was, was taken very off guard by us, or as if it was losing its ability to camouflage or trying to become something recognizable.

This whole ordeal happened in less than five seconds. Just enough time for the brain to rationalize, not be able to find an explanation, go 'WTF is that?' then it was gone off into the woods.

Has anyone ever seen something like this?

In another earlier post, I talked about a few supposedly real cryptid plants my grandpa talked about when I was younger and lived in Roswell. I’m here again to just talk about a few other stories he told me when I was younger that I believed back then, both to just inform you all of these cryptids and to see if anyone else had heard of them.

The first are the Roswell Nightcrawlers, which are exactly as they sound: Fresno Nightcrawlers, just in Roswell. According to him, they are the alien equivalent of dogs, and that they’re owned by the Greys as pets. If/when they’re spotted, it’s usually because they’re simply being taken on a walk or being let out of the ship for a restroom break.

The second story he told me is that the entire, or at least a majority, of the homeless population in Roswell are actually shapeshifting aliens biologically disguised as humans. This was his alleged reason as to why so many homeless people (at least within Roswell) are adorned with the stereotypical “the end is near” signs, due to them having some alien knowledge we don’t.

The third is that Bitter Lakes has remained virtually unchanged geologically and ecologically from the Silurian era, resulting in giant aquatic insects and invertebrates still being native to the area after so long, such as trilobites, prehistoric amphibians, or sea scorpions that have adapted to freshwater lifestyles.

The fourth story my grandpa told me isn’t really something Roswell specific, but he told me about how if I left my fingernail and toenail clippings underneath my pillow, the “nail fairy” would come and collect them, leaving me money just like the tooth fairy.

The fifth and one of the most distinct/memorable story he told me was that the pond in Cahoon Park was inhabited by this supposed Unigator, an alligator with a unicorn horn. This is one of the first stories I can remember him telling me, and was one of the first things that got me into cryptozoology. It was so influential to me actually that I took a taxidermied alligator head and put a horn on it.

While not directly from my grandpa, my grandpa told me one of his friends (John I think it was) claimed they saw a gigantic kaiju sized discarded crab claw at Bottomless Lakes, one so large that at a first glance one might just assume it’s part of the geological environment.

The seventh story I can remember is that supposedly mayor Dennis Kintigh was actually a giant praying mantis/mantis-like alien who was wearing a skin suit of sort to disguise themselves as a human, in a Men In Black Edgar style.

This last one isn’t actually from my grandpa but instead my uncle, who told me that many of the birds you see overhead in Roswell aren’t actually birds, but instead tiny/miniature alien spaceships disguised as birds being piloted by tiny aliens.

These are the most notable stories or at least ones I can remember the most that my grandpa told me about when I was younger and tried to convince me were true, obviously to just get me to leave him alone at times, but if anything it did the opposite effect, because I would constantly bug him to tell me more. Obviously none of these are real, but I’m just asking anyone if they’ve heard any of these before, since I can’t really find anything about these online (aside from general conspiracy theories and the original Nightwalker sightings).
