Does anyone know or have a full coverage pattern for the crones tapestry from the Witcher 3? I know there’s apps to make a pattern but they overwhelm me lol.

Why is the brand new DMC floss doing this? Working on my project, then the floss just starts to pull apart and fray! Anybody know why this would be happening? I’ve stitched for 20 yrs or more and I’ve NEVER had this happen before!! Defective? Has DMC changed their threads?

Hello from a newbie to cross stitch. I finished this book mark from Witchy Stitching by Meg Black, but messed up because I suck at reading directions and didn’t leave enough length.

Will this fall apart if i stitch around the edges carefully or should I use a bit of fabric glue to hold it all together?

Hii friends ! I recently decided to delve into cross stitch as a new hobby/craft. I suck at it - and that’s ok! It’s ok to be bad at stuff it’s all about learning but I feel I could be tweaking my process. Things I have questions on:

Am I supposed to be thinning the colored thread out ?? Or using a certain thickness?

How the F\*\*\* do you use a hoop ? I have a set of plastic ones, should i be using metal?

How do you keep the back neat/avoid knotting yourself up?

What is the best way to go about patterns in terms
Of color? Do you do a handful of stitches and knot/cut off?

Do you have recommendations for easier beginner patterns? I downloaded a few “beginner” patterns and I feel like they’re still a little loaded !

Please let me know the best way to get into this hobby and enjoy it! I need a dummies guide !

Hello fellow cross stitch enthusiasts! I started cross stitching in February of this year and I have recently picked up spinning my own wool thread. I enjoy spinning my own thread but I also enjoy other wool/silk/specialty threads. I was just wondering if anyone has recommendations on reputable brands for wool and silk threads? I really enjoy The Thread Gathers thread and the Caron silk threads. I've heard good things about Soie D' Alger.

Specifically looking for thin threads or ones that can be divided as I enjoy the look of 2 strands usually.

So I started rejoice by plum street sampler and i didnt realize my whole grid is not in the middle of the fabric and its off. Should I just frog what all I have done so far and just wash out the grid and restart the project, and fold to find the middle and re grid.

This is my first cross stitch i just finished and i love how it came out! Already on to the next one, i love this hobby!

I'm absolutely thrilled with the final look! The backstitch on the faces was definitely a bit tricky and challenging, but it was 100% worth it in the end.

Update got DMC thread and the light pink is dmc 2 strands and the cream is pearl thread size 12. I think it looks better then before and ive also done railroading. The second pic was what i wanted it to look like sorry dor some reason it look really shiny on camera.

Hey all! I’m working on designing trendy pre-finished items (I don't own a shop**) and would love to get your feedback on the general idea! Additionally if anyone makes cross stitch craft kits, would you be interested in including something like this as the canvas? 

Essentially, it would include quilted shoulder bags, makeup bags, and ipad cases. I want to make more functional ways to display the craft, it takes so many hours, I want the world to see it! Would you be interested in this product, or this product paired with a compatible cross stitch pattern that is compatible with the item?
