I used to occasionally order from them and followed their socials - until today when they posted an ad for “something magical” arriving. The HP licensed yarn and tchotchkes shite.

Has anyone else seen this? So I guess we can just steal cross-stitch patterns now and it’s totally cool if it’s for personal use.

Came across this Rascol ad on Pinterest. I get the appeal of AI videos, most craft shops, even big ones have tight margins and probably can't afford a human video production at all—actually they could get their team to record a team-mate with their phone and go lo-fi. But not checking that a "knitting" video actually depicts knitting before hitting publish is inexcusable.

"From a simple ball... ...to a unique creation. Rascol. Everything for knitting."
