I’m matching the right part numbers and still assembling everything backward
I’m working through a rolife miniature room kit, and the numbered wooden sheets are easy enough to follow, so finding the right pieces isn’t really the issue. What keeps tripping me up is the orientation in the instruction diagrams. I’ll match the part number, line it up exactly how I think the picture shows, and then realize two steps later that the printed side was supposed to face inward or a tiny slot needed to be on the other edge. The exploded diagrams make sense once the mistake is obvious, but somehow not before I glue anything. Do experienced builders look several steps ahead before attaching each piece, or is there a symbol in these manuals that clearly shows when something should be flipped or rotated? I’m starting to think the instructions are fine and my brain just won’t translate flat diagrams into tiny furniture.
