We often see people sharing extra photos of their cats in the comments of posts which we love to see!
This made us think that it might be fun to have a megathread once a month where everyone can share their cats just being cats, even if they’re not copying each other for once.
Cute poses, silly behaviour, cats being naughty, whatever you’ve got. We want to see them!
We’re going to trial it for a few months and see how popular it is. If people enjoy it, we’ll keep it going. If not, we’ll quietly pretend this never happened.
Normal rules still apply to the main sub! This is just a little extra space for all the other cat content you want to share.
Anyway, enough waffling. Pay your cat tax 👀

We’ve noticed that quite a few of you have multiple cats in the same family who are regular copy paste offenders, so we need a new flair. It’s also got us wondering what other categories we might be missing.

We’ll then steal the best ideas because obviously, plagiarism is our kinda thing 🫠

Since the ladies were such a hit I found this photo of when they first got to us. (Katie was about 2.5 and Freyja is about 15 weeks) Second photo was yesterday. They still judge me harshly in duplicate.
Freyja has outgrown her mother in size but she had correct nutrition unlike her mum. 😢

Archie (orange) and Topaz (classic tabby) were my first pets as an adult. They were with me through senior year of college, the loss of my dad, moving to a new city, getting my first apartment, starting my job, then 2 more apartments, a new city and my first house, and finally back to the original city and the home I’m still in today. I had just lost my first dog and knew it was getting close to time for Archie to move on so I was looking to adopt a kitten to help me and my other dog through these losses. I went to an adoption event planning to look at a fluffy grey kitten but got sidetracked by a pair of littermates who matched my boys. I felt like it was a little bit of fate.
Ender (orange) and Fitz (classic tabby) only had a little time with their older brothers- but it was love at first sight all around. And now that topaz has also crossed over, I am so glad to have these two to remind me of the OG kitties who loved me through some of the most challenging and exciting years of my life. Plus add their own unique memories on top
