I've had this thing for a while now, and it's gotten pretty dusty so I wanted to clean it, but I couldn't find a way to open it up. Can somebody help? Thanks

They're currently at the same price and I honestly don't know which one is a better performer and quieter.

I don't care about the stock fans as I would replace them with Noctuas.

Which one should I get for my 9800X3D in a SFF build?

Has there been any confirmation that Cooler Master will release either version of the Mighty40 fans? (220mm or 180mm)

Jokes aside, the Mobius 120 really impresses me even though it is not new in the 120mm market.

For around 13 bucks a fan, at loads, it is virtually silent when compared to the 9 bucks P12 Max that I owned. The fans do push quite a lot of air and the only thing I can hear now is the coil whine of the GPU. No strange bearing noise at low speeds, no annoying resonance hum at moderate loads, and the build quality is extremely nice.

I installed the liquid cooling system, but nothing appears on the screen. The software detects it but doesn't show an image; the software indicates that firmware is available, but it cannot be downloaded.

It doesn't display an image; only the logo appears upon startup. There is firmware available on MasterCtrl, It shows me available firmware, but the download button takes me to the website.

The switch doesnt seem want to lock on any mode physically, then the usb dongle,the wired and the bluetooh all dont work and cant connect to my laptop at all.

When i plug in my usb C and/or my usb dongle, my laptop says "USB has malfunctioned and unrecognizeable"

I'm one of those people that got their hands of the MasterHUB + 3x knob + Encoder on recent sale. I'm working mainly on Mac, so it was a hard pill to swallow knowing that I may not be able to use it (you know, Coming soon... and the news of it being legacy now). The good

• Keypad, fader, knob and dial modules are basically fully supported.
• Profiles, bindings, folders - you name it.
• You can use images and animations on a keypad and dial.
• Nice set of initial actions, like changing volume, opening apps and URLs, media controls, key macros, and more to come.
• Even more light effects than in an official Windows app (they had a faster strobe effect unused, so I added it and now can officially make this statement)!
• OBS actions (experimental, yet to be properly tested).
• Initial support for the official `.mhz` profile import.
• Light and dark mode.
• Live preview and test mode.
• Demos like Tic-tac-toe, Whack-a-mole, and Display speed test - more to come!
• No telemetry, everything stays on your device.
• And for other devs: each of my findings from USB packet sniffing, reverse engineering FW, etc. is also available in this repository.

The bad

• Flows, scripts and plugins are planned, but I want to make sure the basic support is stable enough for day-to-day use.
• Potentially bad:
  • The whole development, especially with reverse engineering effort, was done using generative AI. Some of you may not like it, but I wouldn't be able to do it myself (even though I work in software engineering).
  • App is not native and was created with Tauri (Rust backed with React on client). It takes ~22 MB on disk when installed (according to Pearcleaner), so it shouldn't be an issue.
  • Linux and Windows support is not planned, as it not an easy feat, but it's not impossible.

The ugly

• The 2x roller module, that comes by default with the base set, is currently unsupported. It looks like if macOS doesn't enable apps to interact with the layer that is used by this module. I'll try to resolve this, but can't promise anything yet - please take this into consideration.
• This is a very early release. It may not work for some of you, and may cause issues if not used properly. I have taken some steps to make it safer, easier on resources, and free of bugs - but hey, we know things don’t always work as expected.
• This app is unsigned (may change in the future). What this means: you'll have to allow it to run through your System Settings -> Privacy before the first run and after each update. You might also be prompted to give it necessary permissions to interact with volume, using keyboard shortcuts or media controls, etc. Check this for more information: https://github.com/goniszewski/OpenStreamHub#install
• Logo, probably. But I find it cute.

I just upgraded from my old 932. I was experiencing high vram temps no matter what i did. The front scoop has dropped temps nearly 20 degrees. I'll never get rid of the 932 but the 500 is amazing!

Finally finished this build, and I have to share the pain.

The case (HAF 700 EVO): Nobody near me stocked it. The shops either said “out of stock,” “coming soon™,” or gave me a look like I’d asked for a unicorn. After weeks of refreshing listings I found one, and it arrived in a box big enough to live in. My delivery guy hates me now.

The Noctua NF-A20 200mm fans: This was the real boss fight. Every Noctua fan in existence was in stock except the one I needed. I ended up begging a friend abroad. When they arrived I held them like a newborn. Beige and brown, in an all-pink build. I regret nothing.

Specs:

• Zotac Gaming RTX 5080
• Noctua fans everywhere, because once you go brown you don’t go back

Total build time: 3 days. Total time spent finding parts: I don’t want to talk about it.

I just want to say how happy I am to be able to complete my pc build in 2026.
I have to admit that I did not have the best time with my build but I am glad i don’t not have to worry about buying pc components anymore as the prices is absolutely atrociously volatile. The only two thing I am happy to spend my money on was this cooler master pc case, every modern case now day built random pcs of plastic. I hate paying for cheaply made things. But this case feel amazing, thanks cooler master!

I know most people are amazing at doing cabling routing for a nice clean build, but my main goals is a reliable pc for my video production works.

Anyway, below is my complete build
CPU: 9950x3d
Cpu cooler: dark rock pro 3
Gpu: asus 5080
Motherboard: gigabytes motherboard master x3d white
Ram: 64gb corsair
Psu: Corsair 1500w
Nvme: 4tb gen 5 (Hopefullly getting atleast two more sticks of 8gb gen 4 nvme)

As of now, my one of the usb in the front panel doesn’t works, so I only have 1 usable usb a and 1 usable usb c. Which is good enough for me. My psu fans doesn’t turn on which annoy me. But it did mention that it won’t kick on untill it’s has higher load or something. Which is fine, but I would prefer it to be on all the time. Which I need to figure out how to turn it on.
I originally was going with Intel cpu for their encode and decoder capabilities, but after seeing all the reviews it’s really push me toward amd. I went with 5080 for their encode and decoding capabilities. And ram was, i just consider it as a price for all the sin that I have ever committed up until now and accept it.

Oh yeah, now that I have this build I will mainly be working with Sony 4k h265 10bit 422. Hopefully this pc can handle 8k in the future.

hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone had a cooler master 850w sfx 80 gold plus 4x4 cpu cable that you don’t need that I could maybe buy off you or something, I know this is a very specific request but I bought the psu from a 3rd party seller and when I asked them about it they said theres nothing they can do. if anyone knows where I can find one without having to buy an entire new psu please tell. and for those who are wondering I need it for a custom pc project.
