I enjoy the game. I think this sub just has a very vocal crowd that dislikes it. I’ll definitely be playing on launch. Seems like they’re doing what osrs is to RuneScape to wow which seems like it could be fun.

That's because there is a coordinated effort to try and sink Forever.
There are discords that trying their best to damage Forever, because Forever doesn't have GDKP and boosting/Dungeon grinding has effectively been stopped.
So there is money interests trying to crash the project, because there is money on the line for RMT folks, not only that this is the first time Blizzard has started creating new systems to track gold and warn people.
This is why there's so much toxicity in all the reddits over the last couple weeks.

Yep, everyone I've played with has been super stoked and excited for Forever, and its a blast. But as soon as you get out of the game, its way to coordinated. Not surprised when RMT groups view Forever as a threat to their bottom line. Not like Retail/Era/MoP/TBC Forever is the first time the devs are actually making new systems to combat them.

forgive me if I'm misunderstanding, you think there's a coordinated effort from RMTers to sink forever? you realize blizzard will do nothing to stop RMT because they can do nothing. look at every other version of the game the last 20 years. forever is another avenue for them to make money, not a threat.
