Forever Man I can't wait to get goblins ~ what class restrictions do you think they'll get?
We know Cataclysm was a lot more lenient on class/ race lore... is their a goblin class you can see the race losing when they're added to Forever or do you think they'll get every class they got added in Cataclysm.
Tbh i can see goblin warrior, Hunter, shaman, Rogue, mage and Warlock. I think they'll lose Priest.
I am hoping the goblins we get recruited will be a little more sinister capitalist than the toned down ones we got from Bilgewater and I'm hoping they'll have a female leader being The Tallest, who's just some big corpo boss in a tuxedo.

If they add blue goblins to the game. I’ll be hard 24/7. I will not be able to focus in raid.

Goblin Paladin.
Also these would be Aqua Goblins, cause they're blue obviously.

Sorry, goblins are not hot enough for the tasteless swine that play this game. The best I can do for you is another blood elf model, but this time its fire themed.

I played a female goblin warrior for years. Loved the animations and she was a cutie, too. Would love for Cata goblins to be added to Forever. Just kinda... push the Skyborne over to Alliance, and then the Horde can get Cata goblins. :D

u/Anilahation 6h ago
Tinker instead of shaman maybe ..?

u/stormcallernjal 6h ago
Tinker 100%.
5
u/Siyavash 6h ago
Tinker being only gnome/goblin would be very fun

u/LoreChief 6h ago
Can't believe it's been like 22 years and we still don't have tinker..
•
u/Siyavash 4h ago
one of the coolest things about vanilla wows world, is the mix of gnome/goblin tech mixed with fantasy. basically just war hammer but is bad ass in both.
•
u/SeriousLee91 1h ago
You mean warhammer in bad?
•
u/Siyavash 38m ago
No no, its cool in both wow and warhammer. I like when fantasy settings have weird technology thrown in
1
u/stormcallernjal 6h ago
I think it’s coming next year. Not hopium or anything. Just kind of reading the room. Think we will get it as a joint drop with TLT.
•
u/Siyavash 4h ago
tinker was one of the classes asked about in the survey i did at the beginning of the beta. i feel like tinker/bard/necromancer have had the most discussion since that survey. all 3 would work very well imo.
•
u/stormcallernjal 4h ago edited 2h ago
Numbers wise Tinker/Necro were the two most requested and favored based on feedback and discussions afterward. Tinker was also part of a leaked survey before the announcement of The Last Titan, you can still find YouTube videos about it and a “leaked” series of supposed Tinker shots against a target dummy. And unrelated today they announced that datamined files in the Beta(mounts) are not just for Forever alone, but another title means they are sharing assets. Awful lot of coincidences.

Blue sky goblins! They splintered so they’re available to both Alliance and Horde factions! Hmm where have I seen this before…
Goblin Paladin named Thex. That’s me.
Blizzard would give us literal smurfs as a race. This might happen.

I can't wait til we get Blue Draenei.
•
u/IGargleGarlic 3h ago
When they announced Dranei for the first time I was disappointed they werent the fucked up shrivelled up dudes from WC3. I'd actually be hyped if they added those.
•
u/Insidious_Bagel 2h ago
Thats the broken. They are dranei but basically ravaged by fel energy
•
u/MechaMalz 1h ago
Yes but pre BC those were the only Draenei we knew, because they were in Frozen Throne and I think in wow in swamp of sorrows if memory serves. The whole 'draenei are actually Eredar that escaped the Legion' was a later invention in BC.

u/Batty25111 6h ago
I would think they would stay as a support class race. Warlock. Hunter, Mage only.

This should be more than 30$. It's so unique and community wanted feature, just like blue blood elves and chicken retail shop mount
5
u/Anilahation 6h ago
They confirmed on Twitter that the chicken mount is only for retail, not forever.

goblins are neutral profiteers, in classic they do not belong to any faction, that is their identity

u/DeveloperSarong 6h ago
Goblin priests being televangelists running tithing schemes fits their hyper-capitalist lore way too well to ever cut it. Shaman was always the weird one until they explained it as signing binding legal contracts with the elements.

All trolls aside it would be interesting if they were a race that could not be warriors, because they are little and sneaky they could be restricted to range or rogue but nothing that can tank
•
•
u/muticere 3h ago
Unironically would be fine with blue goblins, just give me goblins please, they’re my favorites.
•
•
u/Aegis320 3h ago
If they really wanted a neutral playable race, it should have been goblins. I'd play an alliance goblin.

Imagine paying box price for goblins.
No, seriously. Imagine paying box price, because that's what it will be when they come out. $59 to unlock goblins.

Ah but you see, these GOBLINS call themselves "Wavelins", they have never been to Undermine because they are actually a group of kajamite-infused pygmies who rebelled against their master Mimiron and ran away from Ulduar in a raft. They were eventually saved by the Hydraxian Waterlords Who brought them elementally infused kaja-cola to make them feel at home.
That, over 10000 years, altered their appearance and made them look like they are now. Their elemental friends mysteriously stopped bringing them cola, however, and their society has now split in two in regards to how they see their future.
The Technocracy wants to bring order by embracing their engineering roots and for that they'll contact the Silver Hand to join the Alliance, only them can be Paladins.
On the other hand the Sly Council thinks they should embrace their new gifts and steal, if necessary, all the cola in the world. Deathstalkers will vouch for them joining the Horde, their exclusive class is Rogue.
Don't get that wrong though, these Wavelin GOBLINS groups hate each other and should not be considered a neutral race in the slightest.

i don’t think they should get shamans, they don’t give a fuck about the earth
•
u/TimeIntern957 11m ago
On Turtle goblins could be a Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Mage or Warlock. No healing class, same as gnomes on alliance side. Goblin faction was called Durotar Labor Union and had their own town in Durotar with new boat connection to Hinterlands. Goblin male caster animations were so good. I take this over blue skyelves anyday lol

u/STARSBarry 6h ago edited 5h ago
As they stated prior they wont add retail races, so no Goblins
However Glublins, duel faction water elemental lowborn that hail from the land of Seawall are ripe for the pickings.
They have deep deep lore too, they just showed up one day and like have two distinct factions that hate each other for some arbitrary reason, like alliance gets shamans and Horde get Paladins or something.
Its very classic.

Actually they were always there they were just underground heeeerm using earth elementals, yeah that works, that fits classic, and now huuuurm they need to surface because hmm something I guess, dalaran, ignore the 50 races you know and want to play as, this one is so much better
•

u/RuneWarhammer 6h ago
Besides they said in an interview that no retail races would be coming to forever. they WON'T be adding goblins fyi
3
u/Anilahation 6h ago
That person was illiterate, they said they wouldn't add races with no prior connection to the RTS or vanilla wow world... so no like Vulpera or Haranir.
Goblins, Worgens, Ogres and etc all exist in the space of the RTS or vanilla wow.
2
u/Open-Process8881 6h ago
>they wouldn't add races with no prior connection to the RTS or vanilla wow world
Isn't that exactly what the skyborne are? What is the full context of this quote?

u/RuneWarhammer 6h ago
They specifically said no Goblins or Vulpera. literally quoted.
Blizzard considers Goblins on the same level as Vulpera, they mentioned them on the same line.4
u/Anilahation 6h ago
The line you're talking about, is from the tech radar writer inteperation from that response, not a direct blizzard quote and again.
Blood elves joined in TBC, and Aggrend already confirmed Blood Elves.

Why even bother at this point? Their just reskinned skyborne in forever, very lazy since you can literally make Skyborne look identical to blood elves, so whats the point?

u/Prestigious-Board-62 6h ago
They should call them Mind Goblins
