Is Chilliwack CONSERVATIVE MLA Heather Maah actually part of a FB group advocating for BC separation from Canada (and whose members advocate becoming a so-called 'protectorate' of the US!)? Reporting from The Cortes Current today says that NDP ad 'appears to have correctly identified' Maahs, along with Conservatives Bryan Tepper and David Williams, as part of that Trump-loving group: https://cortescurrents.ca/tag/bc-separatism/

If you value Canadian freedom and sovereignty, folks, don't vote for separatists who fantasize that being a vote-neutered 'protectorate' of a bully (who'd love to tariff us out of existence and vacuum up Canadian resources) will be good for us.

Just wondering if there’s anybody in town who is interested in electronic music, making it, geeking out about synthesizers, and maybe even possibly jamming? I know there’s a lot of older punk rock types and that the chillhouse seems to be pretty happening for the kids, which is awesome, but my guitar chops are not so great unless somebody wanted to rock out to some Ramone’s covers cause I think I can still do that…

I have two tickets for the screening of Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie that includes an in-person Q&A with Jay McCarrol & Jared Raab at the Chilliwack Independent Film Festival on Saturday (10/24) and unfortunately my partner and I are no longer able to go. :(

It looked so young and healthy. There was blood all over the road and it seems like whoever killed it was speeding. Why can't people just slow down in this city, I don't get it? My family has been seeing this bear around for a few weeks. We're so lucky to live in this ecosystem and habitat and we destroy it so carelessly. If whoever hit it is reading this, shame on you. Please slow down.

Does anyone have a map of the bus routes for the school? Just wondering where the stops are and how far it goes. I live in promontory but my ex would be coming from Agassiz and is hoping he would be able to drop them closer than directly at the school. Does fhe bus go close to prest and if so, how far down?
