News just came out that Elon is leasing 80K towers for starlink mobile. I wonder if he is going after the failed Dish network?

Here is an updated picture of the cell tower I posted on Monday. Can you guys please help me identify the carrier and units used

Why does AT&T have 2 sectors down low and 1 way up there at the top?

Just speedtested this Verizon mmWave node at the Texas Roadhouse near White Marsh Mall. Very impressive speeds!

This is about 1/2mi from the tower, rural area. I haven't mapped in awhile, but since switching to Mint, I'll have to do some.

This is on a base Galaxy S26. I was hoping to hit 2gbps, but 1700ish is the best so far 🤯

Could the old Dish antennas for 5g be repurposed for 4G LTE? Like could any of the other cariiers buy the dish equipment and use it for 4g and 5g?

Thanks!

Finally they upgraded the silo site along RT 309 in Souderton, PA. No N77 for now. Looks like the mounts are ready

33.52483° N, 112.02455° W

Small cell set up for the Marine corp marathon happening in a few days

Pulled over 3Gbit down and 144 up on verizon n77 SA. This might be the highest download on C-band.

Elon can't waste time on terrestrial build out..makes more sense to make a deal IMHO...doesn't hurt to have to negotiate with Dan Schulman who just happens to use to be PayPal ceo ...hmmm coincidence?

Anyone else getting this error message

I already asked before on here what the interference of pure iDEN sounds like but now I have multiple questions. Thanks for helping

Hi all, this macro I know has Verizon since I pull amazing speeds from it, who else is on it AT&T?
