I received her as a parting gift from an ex when she was 2 years old and never liked her original name, which was "Libby".
She's my first non-human companion ever and when I realized that I could name her anything that I wanted...it was like the fictitious gates of heaven opened up.

Same here…inherited my cat from my ex-gf. Her name is Winnie the Purr. I disliked it at first, but now I wouldn’t have it any other way. I call her Winnifred all the time, and sometimes Winnifred Beatrix and her last name when causing trouble 😂

Was just thinking how different Dungeon Crawler Carl would be if Princess Donut was a male cat instead, as they have a very different vibe from females, and Doctor Hashbrowns would be a perfect name.
