Please someone help me 😭

My cat's eye has been looking like this for the past few days. I'm not sure what the cause is, but my cat doesn't seem to have any other health issues and is behaving normally.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? Has anyone experienced something similar with their cat?

Update: First of all, I'm really sorry for not taking my cat to the vet sooner💔. I understand why so many of you were concerned and asking why I waited so long. I honestly didn't know what was causing the problem, and I wasn't sure how serious it was. Thank you all for taking the time to give me advice and for caring about my cat. I've decided to take my cat to the veterinary hospital to get its eye checked. I really appreciate everyone's concern and suggestions.

Is it just me or is my cats tail huge?

I’ve always thought his tail was really big for him being just a regular cat, I’ve never seen one so thick on others.

Cat's tail

Have you ever seen a cat tail like that? It looks like a Husky's or Shiba's tail, I call it the question-mark tail. I was wondering if you'd ever seen cats with this particular trait or if she is unique. (Her sister has a short tail)

When you do full litterbox changes, does it usually look visibly dirty (little poop residue or pee bits) and is it stinky?

picky cat that won’t eat wet food

Post image

hello! i have two cats that are about to turn 4 years old and they eat exclusively dry food. my boy cat will eat anything you put in front of him, but our girl cat tries to bury anything that isn’t turkey dry food. we keep them on the same feeding schedule, so we ultimately feed them the same meals at the same time

in the past, i tried giving our boy cat wet food for a meal while giving our girl cat her normal food, and it never works out. she goes on a hunger strike once she notices that their meals are different, but is completely disinterested if i try to give her her own bowl. she won’t eat out of that bowl if it smells even remotely like the wet food.

this sweet girl wont even eat a churru. just completely hates all of it.

i’m posting because i know it’s important for their hydration/skin to get some of the oils and nutrients present in wet food and with the dryer months coming up for us, i want to help them both out and keep them from being uncomfortable. i’ve tried supplementing with oils, she won’t eat that either. has anyone else dealt with this and do you have any food/supplement recommendations for these two cuties??

First face-to-face introduction after 6 days am I being too cautious?

Thumbnail

I brought home a 3-month-old kitten last Sunday, and my 3-year-old cat and kitten have been separated for 6 days. I’ve been doing scent swapping and room swapping, but they’ve both been scratching and meowing at the door a lot.
Today was their first face-to-face meeting. The kitten completely ignored my cat and just explored, ate his food, and played with toys. My cat slowly followed her, sniffing her ears and tail, but never rushed or chased her. He crouched a little while following her, so I got nervous and ended the meeting after 1–2 minutes.
Afterward, my cat seemed completely relaxed, while the kitten kept meowing to come back out.
For people who’ve introduced cats: Would you have let the meeting continue? Am I being too cautious and interrupting them before they can get to know each other?

my kitten pees on me at night??

im genuinely writing this at 6 am and im at such a loss. a couple of weeks ago i woke up to my pants a bit wet at rhe bottom and quickly realized my 2 month old kitten peed on me. I thought it was a one off thing and cleaned it up properly, then a few days later it happened again. I purchased another litter box (i have 2 kittens) and kept one in my room temporarily and then it didnt happen again until i removed the litter box from my room and placed it where i keep the other one. Now my kitten has peed on me two nights in a row !!! same spot at the bottom of my pants every single time!!
For context I have two kittens, one male one female. I havent had them very long they were found on the side of the road and they’re first vet appointment is the 2nd of november (its the 24th of october) and I cannot go anytime before since I have work and now my grandmothers funeral. Also neither of my kittens have shown any signs of a uti or anything BESIDES peeing on me. Im almost positive its my girl cat as she sleeps on my hip almost everynight and one time i caught her wanting to pee in a corner. im at a complete loss and im so frustrated im in tears. Any advice on what it could be???

Non Affectionate Kitty

Does anyone else's cat like being petted while you're standing up or sitting on the floor? Lol. It's very seldom that Storm will get on my bed and actually stay there lol 🤣🤣 But he'll definitely let me pet him while standing up or after I've been gone for awhile. Ik there's cats that obviously sleep on their owner's bed, but I want to know how people deal with non physically affectionate cats lol. I'm not complaining at all as I understand he's so young and growing into his independence. Storm is 15 months old for those who don't know. I guess I just want to know I'm not alone lol 🤣 my baby loves me in his own way, and I'm happy with that! 😻💕❤️

Hey everyone! I honestly came to this sub to get some help pointing us in the right direction of what to classify these cute little twins as. We have a male, Percy, and a female, Pippa. They’re a year old next month and we have just been kinda confused since they got here. Mother is a Tuxedo, dad is a void, but they have most of the colorations and signs of Siamese color points along with the boy being verified at his last vaccination by the vet (so they said). So really, curiosity killed the cat and now I’m looking for answers since the vet didn’t really touch on it and I know next to nothing about cats in this aspect. Photo dump of the 2 in question since they’re genuinely adorable, and so they can be seen as best as I can do currently. Thanks everyone!

Older cat obsessed with kitten food. How do I get her to eat?

Post image

I just got a four-month-old male kitten, and my older cat (6f, pictured for cat tax) has become obsessed with his food. She had some when we weren’t looking and it really upset her stomach.

Problem is, now it’s the only food she wants. She tries to steal it whenever we aren’t looking. We feed them in separate rooms to prevent this, but she won’t touch her old food. We feed her dry food in the morning and wet food at night, and she’s refusing both of them. She’s always been pretty picky with food, but I’ve never seen her completely reject food like this. Any advice on how to encourage her to eat adult food?
