Does anyone else’s cat sometimes also like to shuffle away until you can’t reach them?

We adopted this sweet little cat from shelter and after a few months, asked our friend to cat sit for two days. When we returned, our cat was addicted and has not been the same.

The addiction is getting worse, day by day! He comes to me every hour and raises his butt to be slapped. I cannot stop slapping until he gets over stimulated and bites me back. Everytime i think maybe he has had enough but he returns!!! He always returns!!!

I love him and do what i can do to provide for him but my hand hurts. Im slapping him all the time. He is furry so i cant see what its doing to his skin.. maybe its red? Maybe i have caused his bones to dislocate... my own hand is hurting too.. i dont know how to make it stop.

Please pray and share tips on how to recover from this addiction.

He wants it HARDER and he wants to be tossed around. This little man has absolutely no survival instincts, just cheeks and determination. No thoughts, just bongos.

Every day 5 or more times a day, cat demands bongos. Im not the most musical person and Im stuck with the 1813 overture or Yankee Doodle Dandy. Rapidly getting sick of them. What are some songs [I could look up on YTube, links appreciates] I bongo to in that pace/rhythm? And what song is your cat's favorite?

On the plus side my physical therapist instructed me on bongo-ing in a manner to improve my frozen shoulder [work it from the shoulder-duh, but not so good with musculature either].

What direction do they go, clockwise or counterclockwise, or does it vary?

Asking because I've recently realized both of my cats (bonded pair, littermates) do exclusively Clockwise Wiggles when they're getting bongoed and I'm so curious whether this is an innate thing or if other cats sometimes switch it up.

And yes, this is absolutely the stupidest question I've ever asked online, which is saying something.
