Just Because Card for my dad that passed away 13 years ago today. He loved dragons and the color purple.
He was also a guitarist and did a cover of Pink Floyd Wish you were here. Miss you Dad!

Hi there! I have a question for anyone who uses Concord & 9th cardstock and inks!
For the past couple of years I’ve been using distress oxides but I’ve never loved the chalky finish they leave behind. I exclusively use Concord & 9th colored cardstock, so I’ve been considering switching to their inks instead. I would only use them to add depth and shading to my die cuts. My question is, are the inks a darker shade than the coordinating cardstock? For example, if I inked the edges of a die cut that’s cut from poppy cardstock with poppy ink, would it create a slightly darker shade for a more dimensional look?
I’d love to hear your experiences and recommendations. Thanks so much!
Added photo of one of my cards for attention on the post :)

A colleague requested a Stitch card and I managed to find a bunch of Stitch stickers from the toy aisle yesterday and this actually doesn’t feel tacky!
Does anyone else use this type of stickers? (I have a lot of stickers left over)

How else would you add interest to cards without making them “doily” like? I’m going for a modern/simple look but wondering if they’re too “flat” or juvenile. Constructive criticism welcome!
Made a set of Halloween cards with what I had at home. For the candy corn, I layer 3 circles in different colors and for the ghost I used an acetate die set that’s really come in handy for unique shapes. I also used the circle die scrap which actually worked out well!

Ya'll. This Ebay listing is sending me with the price the seller is asking. Did I miss something or are discontinued/limited edition stuff in the card making community being scalped? I can't fathom how anyone could ask that much, let alone pay that for a simple stamp and die set.
I just checked SSS's site and the only kits I see that come near this price and full bundles with at least 4 items or more it looks like.
Was this a really popular or viral set at the time or something? I'm so flabbergasted haha.

Also included is the coordinating die set!

Hello, and today I have a question (especially for all members from Germany)
:
Which glue is right for me?
I’m currently using Tombow (green), but particularly with small and narrow pieces it bothers me that it’s sometimes visible and then, of course, remains sticky.
So I’d like to add another glue to my collection and have the following criteria:
- available in Germany
- dries to a matt finish, ideally invisible or easy to remove
- quick-drying, but with a bit of wiggeling time so I can adjust small parts to the right position if needed
- doesn’t cause warping
- acid-free
- durable (cards mustn’t fall apart after a few years like with cheap school glue)
When it comes to warping, it seems everyone’s had a different experience. One video says, ‘Great, absolutely no warping at all’, and in the next one you see curled paper. However, the adhesives that are mentioned most frequently are not available here (listed below).
I don’t like the ones from Action. I’ve got both of them here, but haven’t used them for years. I can’t even remember why, but there must have been a reason ^^ Also not using anymore: glue from Craftelier.
At the moment, I’m leaning towards Nuvo and Art Glitter. What do you think? Could they be right for me?
Not available: Beacon 3 in 1, Bearly Art Glue, Boyle Craft Glue, Create-it Craft Liquid

Finally got round to starting my holiday cards! Shopping my stash to generate storage. But as Margareth at Sevenplaza would say: I'm cutting down scraps to make more scraps.
Trying not to overthink it and going with the flow. My partner really likes them; says they're modern and fresh.

Yes, I used a heat gun to warm the tape up 😆

Hi all
I am new here. I just thought I would share with you some cards I have just made over the last two weeks. One of them I will choose as a card for my Mum's birthday on November 1st. They are currently drying at the moment as I have just put a layer of Mod Podge over them.

I'm looking for a budget-friendly new paper trimmer that's:
The main feature I'm concerned about is precise cuts. I usually only cut printed photos and roughly 200gsm cartridge paper (each 1 per time).
Any recommendations for both the trimmer and the replacement blades you get for it?
Thanks!
