OK, I have aquired an oldish DVD player with the following: R, L, Coaxial, Video, and S-video. Oldish TV has: R, L, Pr, Pb, and Y, plus HDMI. Plugging in R, L, and Video into R, L, and Y gets error "Mode not supported". Suggestions?
Trying to figure out if there is something simple that I'm just not considering, or if the solution is "buy a new DVD player that'll take an HDMI cable".
[Edit] Looks like getting an HDMI DVD player is the best option. Thanks for the help!

We've lost the plug attachment for this AC/DC adapter and I'm trying to buy one to replace it. It's a Delta Electronics model ADP-30VH A, it's for a Wacom Cintiq 13HD. I thought I'd find them on AliExpress or somewhere like that but haven't had any luck.
I would just replace the whole adapter instead but I can only find them used for high prices, and usually with a US plug instead of the UK one. I also can't just buy a different model with the same voltage & current because they usually come with barrel jacks but this has an unusual connector. I assume it's proprietary, although I feel like I've seen them elsewhere so maybe not? But I don't know what it's called.

Just posting here for some search indexing, since who cares about quality of lightning cables in 2026.
Bought a Scosche cable last year, since the connector design looked robust. Worked fine in my 30W charger for one charge, and now just dead. Cleaning contacts, using another power source, another phone - no response.
First time I've had such an experience with an MFi cable

I got this dvd player and I want to connect it to my TV. But all the cables I find mention it's for audio. I need to somehow convert it either to scart, aux, or hdmi while keeping video and audio. Can any of you help me out before I spend 40 bucks on something that might not even work? My tv also has a composite connection but I use that one for my ps2 already, so preferably I'd be able to convert it to one of the other 3.

My laptop has 2 separate audio jacks for the mic and speaker. Can I use usbc to 3.5mm instead of 2 male to 1 female audio jack?

Power cable is what I’m looking for. Someone with the same issue posted over a year ago to this sub. Since then I cannot find a listing for the 10 pin adapter used to connect it. Model is a Sharp LC-13E2U corresponding part # is UADP-A009WJPZ. Have had no luck tracking any down online and have been laughed at like 4 times on the phone. Anyone have any advice or a next step?

We’re CNLINKO, an industrial connector manufacturer.
For equipment that is regularly disconnected for maintenance, we’d check three things together:
• Sealing conditions: Does the IP rating apply when connected, when disconnected, or with a protective cap fitted? Also check the specified cable diameter and assembly requirements.
• Mating cycles: Does the exact connector model support the expected number of connections and disconnections? A quick-release mechanism and a durability rating answer different questions.
• Access: Can the operator reach the release mechanism and route the cable without excessive bending or strain?
As one example, our LP20 three-pin power connector is listed with a snap-lock connection, IP68/IPX9K protection and at least 2,000 mating cycles. Suitability still depends on the selected part, installation space, cable and operating conditions.
For your equipment, which causes more maintenance trouble: slow disconnection, worn connectors, or protecting the exposed connection after unplugging?
