Build Upgrade Upgrading PC

Hi I'm thinking of doing a pc upgrade and need some thoughts as to what to buy...

Current Specs
AsRock 320M Motherboard
Ryzen 3 2300x Cpu
Radeon 570 Gpu
32gigs DDR4 (Thankfully)

I don't exactly know what to upgrade into and was thinking about upgrading both my Cpu and Motherboard for a start.

List of Maybes..??
Ryzen 5 5600x3d
B550M Motherboard
Keep Gpu
Keep Ram

I know I have enough Ram and my old motherboard won't support cpus past 65 watts so I just need some input on what I'm thinking about buying or what else I could buy...
(I also do know my gpu isn't good I just want to start off upgrading these parts first before looking at Gpus I want to buy )
Help would be appreciated please and thank you!

5600X3D is a weird chip that only exists at one retailer, are you near a store that stocks it? If not just grab a 5700X3D off the shelf and call it a day, that B550M will handle it fine with your existing RAM.

CPU first - a 5600, 5600x , 5600x3d would be a worthwhile upgrade. Make sure you update your bios before the CPU upgrade . You don't necessarily need a new motherboard if yours supports a bios upgrade. If yours doesn't support a bios upgrade, get that B550m

GPU next: what's your budget? In order from cheapest to most expensive, I'd suggest: RX 6600, RX 7600, Arc B570, Arc B580 or 9060 xt 8gb, 9060xt 16 GB, 9070 GRE 12gb.

Good luck. Keep the ram .

5600X3D + B550 board is good.

RX 9070 GRE, 9070, or 9070 XT for the GPU. The 5600X3D is fast enough to justify any of them.

Make sure your power supply can handle the increased load.

Get the B550m motherboard. I have the Aorus b550m motherboard and it works wonderfully. I would suggest the Zyn 7 5800x3d. Bought mine at micro center for 300 usd. Gpus as you know have skyrocketed. My last upgrade, was an rtx 5070ti. That being said, make sure you have an 850w power supply gold or better. Also, if you include the games you play and your preference for FPS, also make a difference in the suggested parts.

thats a good plan honestly. 5600x3d + b550m is about the best value jump from a 2300x and ur 32gb ddr4 carries over

- 5600x3d is micro center only, if ur not near one the 5700x3d is the same idea and sold everywhere

- any decent b550m works (msi b550m pro-vdh wifi, gigabyte b550m ds3h). flash the newest bios first or get one with bios flashback

- youll feel it right away in cpu heavy games. the 570 will hold you back in newer stuff, so when ur ready an rx 9060 xt 16gb is the move and pairs perfect with that cpu

just make sure ur psu is a decent 550w+ before the gpu upgrade
