Hello every nyan!
I’ve been a Buck-Tick Fan for about 5 years now and I absolutely love this band. I’m in my senior year of high school and my senior quote is due soon and since we’re remembering and honoring Atsushi, I’ve been thinking about it more. For years I’ve been thinking about having my quote be a lyric from Speed “Girls and Boys, freedom suits you, this is the last chance let’s blow ourselves up!” But obviously that is very inappropriate in a school setting 😭 So I was wondering if you guys have any ideas! If not I might just quote Gackt “The Magic of the Moon is shalle a le rilla”

RIP to the amazing Acchan, who was an inspiration to me since I was 13, I’ve mourned and missed you since October 24th, 2023

Even though i am a new fan, and didnt really know about them when he died , i felt a deep void in my heart when i learned about his death, we miss you Atsushi . rest in peace

R.I.P. Atsushi 🥀🕯

Hi guys, first time using Reddit so I hope I don't mess up anything.

I wanted to ask if anybody has enough knowledge to tell if this autograph is legit. I won a bid for it on Yahoo! Auctions for ¥10.000, but the seller finished the bidding without waiting for higher bids and that made me suspicious

This is the info on the post:

● バクチク 櫻井敦司 ロックバンド BUCK-TICK ● 色紙 27cm 直筆 サイン 状態は良好 ● 肉筆 印刷物ではありません

おおきさ 27cm

送料 定形外発送(675円)

状態 ： 良好です 年代物 コレクター蒐集物

I would have wanted to ask for more info, but since I'm from Europe, I can't log into Yahoo! Auctions Japan. I had to bid through a proxy service therefore I couldn't communicate with the seller.

I can't claim anything so if it's fake I'll just have to be stuck with it 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I really hope it's not. The seller has good reviews so that gives me a little hope?

Anyway here's the og Yahoo bid URL, if it works for anyone and can help determine this

https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k1243042067

Thank you guys

Update: The proxy offered to ask the seller where did they get the item from.

We received the following answer from the seller: "This is an item from my late uncle's estate! It was signed in person, right in front of him."

Although they don't clear the year it was signed.

Luckily, the proxy offered a one-time exception and I could cancel the order if I pay a 30% fee

Just wanted to know if there's a minimun chance of their answer being legit and that it may be an item of a familiar that passed away and they don't know the real value it holds 🤷🏻‍♀️ seems too good to be truth tho

Hey hey I have a little question about this photo of Atsushi Sakurai (probably from 1991/1992?). Like I just wanna know who this girl is and kinda the context like it looks like she‘s eating some kind of cake lmao?

I bought my first Buck-Tick and Atsushi Sakurai items, and yesterday they finally arrived at my house!

I became a BT fan in July 2026. I've been a fan of several bands/groups, but I had never felt so interested in wanting to collect their merchandise. I don't know what made me want to start buying their items (maybe it's because it's the first band I like that started in the 80s, which makes me want to have my own little collection, as I find the amount of stuff and music they've released over roughly 40 years really striking), but I started off with a couple of things here:

1. A couple of magazines with Atsushi Sakurai on the cover and a magazine completely dedicated to him. I wish I could read Japanese.

2. The limited edition Miss Take CD. It's one of my favorite singles. I remember seeing them promoting this CD in an interview they did in 2012 (a translated interview on YouTube) and I told myself, "I definitely need to have this!"

3. The Schwein album. Honestly, I bought it before listening to anything from this side project. But I liked it. Although I prefer the Son of Schweinstein album more.

4. The limited edition of the Longinus movie.

I know my initial purchases were a bit focused on Atsushi. But I plan to get more things from the band. I would REALLY love to collect all their albums, but since I don't live in Japan, the taxes end up being a hassle. One of my goals is to travel to Japan and manage to get most of their discography. For now, I would love to be able to buy the photoholders of the 5 members, and other interesting things. Like magazines from the 90s or 2000s, or some of the dolls or plushies I've seen on the internet.

PD: the last picture is a handmade photoholder I made one day with a friend ( ◜‿◝ )♡
