Question Is The Juniper Tree any good?
There’s a local theatre showing it with live musicians doing the score.
I don’t know much about it. I’ll probably go anyway but just curious

was in the car with a friend the other day and Bjork literally was just shouting. the entire time. I loved it but I can't find the song anywhere. Chat GPT has failed me completely.
She literally just went AAAAAAAAAAAA..... AAAAAAAAAAAAA. the whole time.
Can this sub help me locate the song?

Está increible esta página para hacer rankings !! Escuché la discografía completa de Björk en orden durante un mes y le puse nota a cada disco:
¿Qué cambiarían? Si alguien defiende Biophilia arriba de Fossora, quiero argumentos.

Before I start venting, I need you to stay with me, and understand that she's been supportive to me all the way for this trouble-some year. I'm just going through some troubles in life, and I like to reflect on my comfort artists. What I'm trying to say is, I ADORE Bjork, but I'm in a dead-end. That being said..
I can't help but being constantly bothered each time a song revolves around the sensual side of things she reflects at. Like, if you pay attention to it, you could claim that most of her ENTIRE discography revolves around it, and it often scares me.
Bjork, personally, has affected a very tender and serious part of me. Projects like Homogenic, partly Vespertine, Biophilia, Vulnicura and Fossora - albums, which as I interpret them, have not much to do with sex itself (again, partly Vespertine). I fell in love with a side of Bjork's that in my eyes have to do with thyself alone, and embracing change in life.
I wish I could see that part in the parts of her art that this post is about, but it feels like a literal dead end to me. The soonest I hear about something implying "sensuality", just turns me off, like that's somewhat of "border" I'm denying to get though.
Maybe this is too much of a serious post, and I should talk to a psychiatrist, idk - but I'm also so curious to see what others believe on this side of hers! Perhaps I stand alone at this, perhaps not. If so, I'm so open for a conversation.

Absolutely original tracks, splendid lyrics, sound married with form, custom instruments plus the most innovative world around it (the first music app, scientific concerts, school curriculum): BIOPHILIA

Link for the bootleg: The Sugarcubes - Live @ Marcus Amphitheater, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, WI, USA, June, 29th (29-06-1989) - YouTube
This is the first bootleg on which I can certainly say that Björk is much more dominant than Einar: it is her who speaks with the audience mostly, it is her who does not let Einar intertupt her anymore. She clearly gained more self-consciouness compared to their early bootlegs. And it sounds so good! Though the concert unravels slowly, the last three tracks sung, Speed is the Key, Delicious Demon and Blue Eyed Pop, are literally a pure artistry of her voice. This is such an excellent performance! Still, there is one BUT. Sugarcubes perform only as an opening act for New Order, therefore the concert is shortened to only 14 tracks, that is, by one third. So when you are already completely immersed in Sugarcubes sound, suddenly comes the end. Shame. Therefore, though a great performance, I am missing more. 8/10

Sorry if someone has already asked, but is anyone else seeing Vespertine Live replacing Hidden Place's live version with the studio version? If so, does anyone know why? It wasn't particularly my favorite, as I much prefer Biophilia's rendition, but still curious!

I want to get into Björk but I'm not sure where I should start listening. What are your recommendations for songs/albums?

I'm curious about where people hear the start of the measure in "Venus As A Boy." This version of the song with more 'traditional' drums autoplayed and I got really confused, since I hear beat one at the "He" in the chorus, instead of at "boy" like here. The interpretation in this remix is also what I saw in unofficial sheet music for the song. Am I the only one who hears it differently?
Edit: There's a mockup demonstration in the comments with a stock drum beat

for some reason, track 5 of byörks debut album is not in the little booklet with the lyrics for each song. Like someone is love is missing its lyrics!!! I wanted to know if this was normal because i feel like im going crazy, it is on the back of the cd tho (the tracklist) it just doesnt have its own space for lyrics.

Curious to know what people will think Björk's next album will sound like... and what she'll draw inspiration from!

I’m not the best drawer but I storyboarded a music video concept for Bachelorette. I’m wondering if it makes sense to you guys without seeing the script or hearing me pitch it? I pitched it to my class last week and they loved it. Can you understand the scenes just from the shots? What do you interpret?
Hint: the characters involved are a bjork statue, baby bjork, creepy man, bjork, and a duplicate evil bjork.

The last lyric before they died was “my headphones they saved my life.” So strange.

On ツラ she used some of the same bird sounds Björk used on Utopia. Towards the end of the song, you can hear the same birds The Gate begins with.

It's always wonderful to listen to concert in soundboard quality! And The Sugarcubes sound on festivals a bit different than on private venues. Very relaxed concert, with a full collaboration of the audience. Einar and Björk teach people how to sing a little children song "Ding a ling a ling" and it sounds sweet when hundreds of voices join them. And in general, there is a lot of improvisation: Einar incorporates the fact of the pouring rain into his shrieks and raps and the concert breathes with freshness. On the other side, Björk sings a little Finish child song she performed even before her child debut in 1977 - Minun Kultani Kaunis On. Nice return back to her childhood. In general, a lot of talks and little surprises between the tracks appear. And songs chosen for a bit shortened concert (16 songs perfromed compared to usual 21 songs on private venues) are in perfect proporotion - 8 from Life's Too Good and 8 from the incoming Here Today, Tomorrow, Next Week! album. And after a longer period, "Sick for Toys" and especially their hit "Birthday" return to the playlist. Birthday is sung so excellently, this song is indeed Björk's vocal masterpiece. Such a sweet sugarcube voice! This concert is shorter, but perfect, nothing to complain about. 10/10
Released as bootleg named after that child song: Ding a Ling a Ling: The Sugarcubes – Ding A Ling A Ling – CD (Unofficial Release), [r1196486] | Discogs
