These beautiful wood ducks are just amazing to see. Brown Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Original content and shot with my Canon 5D Mark iii and 150-600 zoom lens

I mean, enough said. Pulled into my driveway in NJ and was extremely puzzled by this little guy just sitting. I donβt have a pond or stream in the back but he hasnβt gone anywhere yet

This beautiful bird landed very close to me and let me take lots of photos. I was super lucky!

Last year, in Colombia, the elusive female Cock-of-the-rock showed up briefly. That was pretty unexpected and from what I could see, it's not something that happens often.

Absolutely love our bluebirds! My wife & I were lucky enough to have 5 broods this year, with 19 babies successfully fledging. It's been such a joy watching them grow, and we love having them around the house!

Found in Canada BC. Google says this might be a Fieldfare, but it is not very often that they come to Canada, and Merlin ID don't have suggestions.
Thank you!

A family of trumpeter swans seen nestled together in Crex Meadows Wildlife Area near Grantsburg, WI this past weekend. When I first spotted them they were all sleeping, resting their heads on each others backs. You can see the young ones still resting peacefully behind the adults. Such a wonderful sight to see.

I've heard them several times but never have gotten a good picture. Then on Monday, I saw two that hung out at the edge of a paved trail I walk sometimes.
