Two of my bikes were stolen from Mission City RV Park off Gembler Rd on the east side early Saturday morning, October 10. I filed a police report with SAPD.

Bike 1: Pivot Mach 6 (27.5" full-suspension mountain bike)

• Matte black frame, large white “PIVOT” logos, “MACH 6” on the top tube with a red 6
• Gold Fox fork (Kashima stanchions)
• Orange Race Face handlebar, brown grips
• DT Swiss Spline wheels, Maxxis tires with yellow logos
• Dropper post with a red collar, black saddle

Bike 2: State Bicycle Co. gravel bike

• Raw gray/gunmetal steel frame, “STATE” on the down tube, “Explore Your State” on the chainstay
• Brown Brooks leather saddle
• Black drop bars with a front light/computer mount
• Continental Terra Hardpack tires, DT Swiss wheels, disc brakes
• Silver bottle cages, red rear light

If you see either one on Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, at a pawn shop, or being ridden around town, please don’t confront anyone. Just DM me or contact SAPD.

Thanks for looking, and please share if you know other local riders.

I'll be visiting SA for a conference at the Convention Center, and staying in an AirBNB near Roosevelt Park. I plan to bike commute.
- What are the best routes?
- Is the Riverwalk (south of the central area) a good route?
- Where can I safely lock the bike up for the day at the convention center?

Im looking to get a canyon ultimate CF 7 di2 but i would like to get a fit and know my size before i buy is there a shop that does a good job fitting to canyon bikes ?

Is Hill Country State Natural Area a good spot to go check out on a mountain bike?

I see the trails mapped on TrailForks. And some YouTube videos. Looks good on video but not much in the way of review or recommended routes.

If I were to go do something like this: https://www.trailforks.com/route/cactus-rose-counter-clockwise-loop/?activitytype=5&z=11.8&lat=29.63808&lon=-99.17960&content=trails,labels,poi,directory,polygon,waypoint,nst,routes_featured

Is that a good route? The optimal direction for those trails?

Any more good intel before I make the trek out there?

I'm looking for somewhere with a good table top that has a slower approach, so I get get lots of reps in. This Holy Grail spot has been tough to find on Leon Creek. Specifically I'm looking for a tabletop (or at least no gap) jump that I can enter without a lot of speed. I'm really trying to practice the timing of pushing through the lip of the jump.

Here's where I've tried so far ( I live in Parkwood, so these are all close to me). ,All fun jumps, but not super great for intentional practice sessions:

1. The 2 table tops and the bottom of OP Schnabel on the creek. They are fun, but there's a g-out just before the first jump that makes it pretty hard to practice body position prior to the lip. The second jump is easy, but you carry too much speed to really practice much.
2. The hill in Parkwood. There are several drops and ramps. Not any I'd say are low consequence.
3. The ditch at Fox Park. There's a good jump there, but the drop it is pretty close to to jump, so it's not optimal for practicing the transition work. But, this is the best I've found so far
4. Monkey loops. There are a couple good options there, but they require a full lap to practice. That's a lot more work...I usually train there for HIIT, not jumps
5. Hidden Gem. This is for dirt jumping. Really cool, but tons of gaps, nothing low consequence for a beginner like me on a trail bike.

I've been on the "jump line" at McAlister Park. That one may work, but I kinda hope I can find something closer.

If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears! Happy riding!

This may seem dumb since bikes are supposed to follow the rules of the road. I sat for a long time for a stopped school bus this morning. The kids were all on the bus when I stopped , I guess they were taking a long time to sit down. The stop sign was out. I was just sitting there waiting. I wanted to go but I waited. There’s really nothing they can do since you don’t have a license plate to assign a ticket to. Anyone ever get in trouble for passing a school bus.

Im trying to mod this 17 mph bike to go around 30-35. I looked into a predator 212 but it wouldn’t fit and i just dont know what to do, please give me suggestions or advice.

Hey y'all. My cx bike was stolen off the via bus a few years ago but I'm really itching to get back on a gravel bike when I move back to San Antonio. Years ago I used to bike all kinda of crazy routes like starting in Leon Valley and biking around government canyon via Culebra to 211 to bandera and back. A good number of cross town routes on streets like Huebner too. Looking back, that was a bit... dangerous. Thankfully I've only been hit once.

Does anybody have any suggestions for rides with low vehicle traffic? The greenway is nice but not a place to burn rubber. Ride with GPS has a few but looking for more insights. I don't mind country or city, just wanna get the speed up and stay safe, thank you! :)
