Really need guidance. How loud should a bidet sound? The one we just put in is beyond noisy. Looking for guidance and also suggestions on quieter brands. I’ve been reading positive things about the Alpha Pearl. I had not considered this one prior. Costco also has a few others including a Vovo brand. Please help! Thank you.

Does anyone make one you can aim while using?

My condo doesn't allow bidets that connect directly to the toilet without permission. I want one that is directly onto the end of my sink faucet, includes a hose long enough to reach my toilet, and has suitable backflow protection, not anything that connects to underneath the sink. My budget is around 50 CAD or 40 USD.

Hello. I recently had a StudioLux model SLi5200 installed. It is very loud. Not just the flushing, but the water rinse cycles. I can hear it in the walls even and I’m not thrilled. I previously had a Toto G5a installed in that spot and did not hear anything. Is the toilet defective, or is this brand/model just louder??

Is there an easy way to adapt the Brondell water outlet to a normal sink faucet, so I don’t have to use the Brondell one? Im installing it at my Grandpa’s place and he doesn’t want the new faucet.

Avond allen!

TOTO EP wall-hung toilet with WASHLET+ S7A and AutoFlush. Didn’t anticipate being able to see so much plumbing at the bottom (mostly expected just the electrical cord), but can’t find many images online of how it’s supposed to look. Does anyone have advice?

My old toilet is an American Standard, where the seat is 8.5" wide by 12" front-to-back, measured in the middle. (And that's measuring the hole, not the seat, which would add several inches.)
I got a toilet and bidet as a test to see whether I'd like it: a Toto Drake with an S5 Washlet. It is ovoid with the widest part of the hole nearer the back, and at that point, the opening is 7.75" wide; it's 11.5" front-to-back.
The thing I found weird is that the old American Standard feels like a fine size. But with the Toto Drake + S5 Washlet, even though it only measures as a bit smaller, I feel like I have to place myself precisely on the seat, and my male wabbly bit touches the inside rim.
Is there a good-quality alternative that has a larger opening?

Hello folks! My mother in law broke her leg and shoulder and will be staying with us soon and I’m trying to find the right bidet (either seat or dedicated toilet) to help with her recovery. I’m looking at these two because they are a decent price point at Costco and seem to have what I want. Features I need:
-warm water washing
-remote (with her right shoulder injury she can’t reach the controls on most)
-sturdy seat for wheelchair transfers
-ability to add rails to it (not sure about the Aquavit).
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks!

I’ve always wanted to try a bidet but i’m afraid i won’t like it or the hassle won’t be worth it. So i’m wondering if anyone knows any places that’s have bidets in their bathrooms or anything of the sort.

Bidet in Italy. How does this configuration work??

The bottom of the adapter of my Luxe 185, where it connects with the supply hose, is leaking. The supply hose does not leak when attached directly to the toilet. Is the issue with the gasket or the adapter? Trying to decide whether to replace the hose or the adapter.

Can anyone tell me if this bolts on?

I saw one at a parent's friends party I went to and I was very intimidated.
First of all. This is gonna get a bit nsfw.
Sometimes my brother cleans the toilet bowl with the shower head and it leaves water on the toilet seat. I don't notice it a lot of times and sit on it, when I get up and feel that my whole ass has gotten wet, my autism gets triggered. I cannot handle that sensation of having a wet ass. So in the same sense, how could I possibly like a bidet? Its gonna get my whole bottom wet, including my balls probably as well. I will not like that feeling, and I don't want to use a towel just for wiping the water off my butt and balls. And ignoring it and just pulling my pants up and going on with my day? Hell no.
Second thing.
I never go to the bathroom with a dirty ass full of shit, for example after I use the toilet. I make sure to wipe totally clean and then have a bath. Using a bidet feels like doing exactly what I don't do. Having a bath without wiping my ass first. Also, doesn't the shit water from the bidet go all over the place? I mean guys that jet stream is strong AF.
Am I understanding something wrong here? I personally use baby wipes and I don't have issues. Wet wipes + having baths everyday have me full covered. I do not understand the logic of bidets. If someone can tell me what I've understood wrong please tell me.

Flush pressure sucks. Is there a way to increase that?

It's Kohler, not sure which model but the curve goes forward beyond the bolts and there is not much space in between the bolt and where the porcelain starts to curve up to the tank: https://imgur.com/a/XsLHBfj
Can anyone recommend a bidet setup that they know is compatible with a french curve toilet like this, and does not require hot water?
I can run electricity to it if needed for a heated seat or electric water heating, but I would be ok with just a cold water non-heated seat bidet if thats what I have to settle for.
I'm in a rental so I can't replace the whole toilet unfortunately. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Our six year old USPA 6800U finally suffered the notorious hinge crack. I'm still amazed that Costco did a full refund on it.
Sadly, I see that this model is no longer made. We bought a Kohler Purewash E825 but my wife doesn't like it because of the noise it makes when you sit down on the seat (it seems to purge some water) and she says the spray isn't as strong. We have another bidet in a different bathroom and that one has a spray that's way over-powered! She really liked the 6800U and there is what appears to be a newer version of it (USPA Pro), however I have seen people complaining about the remote control being unresponsive. For folks who have had the old USPA, are there any bidets that you felt were pretty similar in performance (relatively quiet operation when seated and a spray that isn't too strong or too weak.
Ultimately I know this is asking for something that is pretty subjective so I appreciate any thoughts folks can provide.
