Beyond Skyrim OSTs

Hey all! Was wondering if there were any plans to put more of the music on platforms like Spotify? I listen to the Bruma OST all the time and i love the Roscrea one on Soundcloud but was wondering if at any point it would be uploaded to Spotify as well?

Chorrol, Cheydinhal, or Heartlands? Which would you prefer as a Cyrodiil County after Bruma?

Suppose sometime in the future, the Cyrodiil team realeases another prerelease county to add onto Bruma. Which would you prefer? Cheydinhal, Chorrol, or the Heartlands?

I know the Heartlands aren't a County, but I decided to include it anyway, since it borders Bruma.

Pilgrim's journey

Traveling across the New North by foot is a dangerous endeavor, even for hardened adventurers. Still, devout followers of the Reclamations undertake pilgrimages to the holy sites of the region, starting from Bal Serma in the west and spanning all the way to Dagon Fel in the east. Players traveling through the New North can randomly encounter pilgrims as they make their journeys, stopping at shrines along the way to pray and pay their respects. Will you help them reach their destination, kill them and take their offerings, or simply let them go on their merry way?

Sargon is one of the many caves scattered throughout Morrowind. Bandits have taken residence in its halls digging in search of riches only to find out that old and terrible things hide in the bowels of the earth. The dungeon was created by John30.

Hey devs, could you use something like this?

Post image
0 Upvotes

if so, how can I improve it?

if not, what is it missing that you need?

its a lite version of the creation kit that you can use in game

So far what i have is:

it can copy and paste

spawn new objects

Cell search function

move scale rotate objects

edit NPCs

edit cell records

all saves are through a generated json file, you can make them permanent by saving to the ESP

you can hot swap textures on the fly

a real time draw call counter

information panes containing all mods that touch the object and who wins the conflicts

complete drive path to textures

edit light placement

Coming soon:

build and manipulate occlusion planes

terrain deformation

*hopefully* navmesh editing

Roscrean native map - Roscrea 2D department finish line

Post image

A native Roscrean map of the island and its surroundings. Compared with the imperial map, "up" is associated with the east, and names are in Roscrea's native language and script.

With this claim done, Roscrea's 2D department is down to 6 claims left, 5 of which are actively being worked on, the last being treasure maps which will be one of the last tasks dealt with.

The Dragonborn's backstory

The player character has a deliberately vague, almost non-existent backstory so that players can imagine whatever backstory they want for them. But one thing is established: the player is from Cyrodiil traveling into Skyrim.

It would make sense if some quest, some NPC in Cyrodiil relates to the player's past. There's a lot of potential there... but at the same time, you also don't want to invalidate the player's ability to write their own past.

I wonder if any quests are exploring this? I think it could be possible to do both with clever writing that provides plausible deniability. For example maybe an NPC thinks they recognize the player but isn't sure, and you can lean in on it or deny it. In particular it makes sense if the player made an enemy somehow and had a reason to flee Cyrodiil.

Crossing my fingers for "yes of course we thought of that and we're way ahead of you" :)

Interplay

As beyond adds items over the various mods, could clutter items and clothes make their way into skyrim, as well as other regions along ethnic lines, or occupational lines (argonians having some stuff from home, elsewhere, random clutter in skyrim having some other regional stuff, bars having out of region booze etc)

i know a lot is being shared, but as i see people are filling rooms with clutter in completion of cities/towns and tamriel isn't isolationist so could literally any clutter be possible on any map. have hoarder or collector type houses with items of similar types from other regions,. silly storm cloaks in argonia trying to unite independence movements, gem hoarders, insect hoarders, trophy hunters, scholars etc

Questions

I just have some questions regarding armor and weapons, possibly atmoria as well. Also console ports

Will there be spears in the beyond Skyrim mods?
If so then will there be two handed and one handed versions?

The armor is more regarding helmets, will they be open faced like the mod by navida1?

Is Atmoria going to be in the next creation con?

Lastly ports to console, I know that is still being talked about and possibly not going to happen. But if it does hypothetically then what’s the plan?

Has anyone from Bethesda talked to guys about helping with porting the mods?

I know that it’s low and not a hundred percent that console will ever see the beyond Skyrim mods. But with Bruma, it seems possible.

I love what you guys are doing and appreciate you guys answering questions and showing what you guys create. I hope that everyone gets to experience what you guys created!

Environmental Hazards

After looking through some lore around Morrowind of the forth era with things such as the Scathing Bay and the constant ash plumes from Red Mountain, and then just the general dangers of Blackmarsh, I wanted to know what dangers we can expect from the environment. Such as water being either boiling hot or acidic, volcanic geysers, poison gasses, poisonous or thorny plants, or pools of tar or mud causing something like a slowness debuff?

Cyrodiil's main quest

As far as I'm aware cyrodiil's mq will revolve around the succession of ruby throne, how will that correlate with Skyrim's dark brotherhood questline? Will we be locked out of db content if we start the mq? Or will the mq not start until we kill the emperor?

Question on the Bruma Bugfix Update

Hi all, sorry me again! I have read on a few other threads that a rather big bugfix update is planned for Bruma in the coming months - with this being a priority before a PS port etc.

I’ve just finished my mod list but heard from an Argonia dev that it will break people’s save files - just wanted to double check with maybe a cyrodiil dev a little closer to the project if it’s safe to start a new play through now or if it’s better the wait for the update to drop? I know it’s difficult for you guys to commit to a release window so don’t need to know that, just if the update will be safe mid play through :)

More of a general query of the project

Hi all, so first things first - everything at modcon looked insane and can’t wait to play any of them (also with the rumours of a Bruma update soon 🙏).

Just wondering if there’s a more general framework you guys use for quality between projects? I know argonia mentioned about moving away from AI voice acting but was just curious if this is a specific argonia decision or if there’s a more wider scope of ensuring relative similar levels of quality between all the different projects?

I know it’s more a case of separate teams sharing elements of their work rather than it being a cohesive group with splinter teams. Thanks for any insight!!

A bunch more questions (sorry)

Hey guys sorry to bother you again. I just have a few more questions that I forgot to ask last time.

  1. How many hours worth of content will each project have roughly when you counter in the main questlines as well as faction quests and side quests?
  2. How large will the cities be on average compared to Skyrim’s? Both in terms of population and actual area. And how big will the biggest generally be? (obviously there's a lot of variation)
  3. Are the faction/guild questlines as long as the vanilla Skyrim ones?
  4. Will Shadow Magic spells be available to the character in High Rock?
  5. Will NPC’s be able to travel to other provinces (like see one NPC in Cyrodiil and then again in Elsweyr)
  6. Are there any plans for Griffons at all?
  7. How many Knightly Orders of High Rock are there and will their individual quests differ enough to make each of them unique? (obviously the main quest/goal will be the same but are there differences in how that comes about)
  8. Will the High Rock and Hammerfell main quests (or any main quests for that matter) intersect in anyway?
  9. Does High Rock still have lots of smaller feudal states or is it just the main kingdoms now?

Again thanks for taking the time to read these and answer them. I completely understand if some of these are not able to be answered as of now. Can’t wait for Beyond Skyrim!!!!

Questions

Hi all!!!

Super excited about the project and can't wait to see what you guys come up with after I played Bruma for the first time recently (It was amazing).

There are some questions that I've had for a while about the project/s that I thought I'd ask here:

  1. How will maps work? Like obviously Skyrim and Morrowind will be seperate and there will be loading screens (afaik I could be wrong) but for something like Iliac Bay will there just be one giant map of both Hammerfell and High Rock and if so will there be a border marker of sorts so we can see both clearly?

  2. What about quests? Seeing as though these are seemingly adding whole games worth of content into the game basically quests might start to build up so will there be a system where you can tell where each quest is (like that quest is in Morrowind, that ones in Valenwood etc)? Or will there be a seperate journal for each province?

  3. Is Cyrodiil the only project with a main questline and a secondary main questline? Will any other projects have that?

  4. Obviously no one can give me an exact number but how long roughly do you imagine each main quest to be? Are any bigger than the Skyrim main quest or around the same length?

  5. I'm really looking forward to High Rock and I noticed especially in the recent showcase on YouTube that it seems to be leaning into a sort of gothic dark fantasy theme which I love and I was just wondering if that's actually the case or if I was just jumping to conclusions? If so how much darker do you expect the overall tone of High Rock to be compared to Vanilla Skyrim and even the other provinces and how much are you leaning into it?

Thanks for all your answers and if one of my questions doesn't make any sense please ask me to explain.

Argonia Creation Mod on 2026 OST

Why does Beyond Skyrim work on so many projects at once?

I don't know how many people are involved with Beyond Skyrim or how the teams are set up, but I've seen all the Creation Mod Con videos and it looks like a lot of good progress is being made across most of the projects. That made me wonder whether it would speed things up to have more people focused on one project at a time, like Cyrodiil, before moving on to the next. I know there are separate projects like Roscrea and Iliac Bay, so I'm guessing there's a reason the teams are organized this way.
