3. Delete, duplicate items (it works kinda as expected)
4. Update sally_clean.bf with mods in it

Hi everyone, just wanted to share some progress around disassembling and reversing BGE. For now im trying to create a wroking reversed 95%-ish copy of the game in bevy with all of the systems working. Here is showcase for:

- Extracted Jade model, animations and rig including eyes
- Combined mesh, rig, animations
- Some Reversed movement (not yet fixed dead zones and limits for each animation transitions)
- Reversed animation blendings
- Animations to movement bindings
- Most basic input
- Extracted Hangar (no water shader yet as well as collision)
- Not yet fully reversed camera, orbiting etc
- RUNNING

I've been wanting a BG&E tattoo for many many years and I have been starting to actually plan (and budget) my tattoos for the next few years.

I think I would like a bigger Sarcophagus Domzii somewhere on my body but I am lost for placement. Does anyone already have a DomZ tattoo or any cool related work and would like to share or even is a tattoo artist themselves and could give me recs? I have almost my whole left leg bare, mid/lower back and left ribcage. Arms I want to keep for smaller "sensible" tattoos only everything else is cool

I recently purchased Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary on my Xbox Series S and noticed that some sound effects are of much lower quality compared to the HD remaster and the original release. Does this only happen on the Xbox Series S|X version or also on other platforms?

I'm currently playing the original release via Ubisoft launcher and all was going fine til I hit the slaughterhouse section. I'm now in a bit where I'm driving my craft around and have to navigate spiky mines in the water (and push some blocks into them), but every time I try to adjust the camera or hit the button for the compass, the screen bugs out and it spits me back out at a previous checkpoint.

Anyone else encountered and got round this? I keep trying to do the section without touching the problematic controls but sometimes I'm unable to see correctly due to camera positioning. And I was having so much fun with this game! Originally played (but never completed) it on PS2 back in the day.

I apologize for the casual nature of this topic (after all, we have to find something to discuss regarding a game whose sequel has been awaited for over a decade).

Given that Jade was created as a heroine with whom anyone could universally identify, it strikes me (and this is worth noting) that she is likely the first (and only) video game heroine with a North African-inspired character design.

This hypothesis might not be immediately obvious to those not from France (where the game was developed), but the Maghrebi community (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia) is the country's largest ethnic minority, so it has always seemed self-evident to me. Furthermore, Michel Ancel spent part of his childhood in Tunisia and has stated that North African tales and aesthetics influenced his artistic approach.

Jade shares the physical traits of many North African women (tanned skin, dark hair; one even finds almond-shaped eyes among certain people and populations in Morocco).

I would love to believe this theory to imagine that the most stylish heroine in gaming (alongside Bayonetta) might be of North African/Maghrebi inspiration. I thought it was worth mentioning, as no one else seems to have put forward this hypothesis.

What do French fans (and others) think ? Have you ever questioned the inspirations for Jade or is it a thing that just doesn't matter to you ?

And wow what a cosy game this is. The world feels alive and every character has soo much charisma and personality.

The simple gameplay is alright because allows me to just relax and admire the world.

Levels are full of interactivity.

Soundtrack is also very good.

I just got the HD port on gog and I beat in a few days now I'm trying to peice together factoids but it seems only the 20th aniversary edition has the answers. How do the fans feel? Was it welcomed additions or does it muddy things. For instance does it ever give any concrete on how jade had parents if she's an alien. I read some info on her being reincarnated or a possible clone.

Every few months I get a hankering to play this wonderful game again and this time I decided to wrap up the few achievements I never bothered getting. I probably completed like 5 different runs in the last month.

I have not and will never tire of this game. The characters, the music, the art, everything is just the perfect package. I love this quirky game so much and it pains my heart every time a Ubisoft shareholders meeting or Summer Games season passes without a peep from the sequel or erm prequel (honestly, for how long its been since we've received a true update I wouldn't be shocked if they have started completely over again.

Anyway, I know very well I am rambling, but I just wanted to scream into the stars about how much I love this game. And, Ubisoft, as a day one SpaceMonkey, I am stubbornly awaiting our call to action, even 8 years later.

I accidentally got stuck on the Moon with all my autosaves overwriting my Hillys progress. I'm playing the 20th Anniversary Edition on PC (Ubisoft Connect) and want to go back to Hillys to collect the remaining pearls and animals.
