Nepali 32 M marrying my Belgian Girlfriend 30 F and We are moving to Nepal

So we just got an email from the Belgian embassy in New Delhi (since Kathmandu has no Belgian embassy) that we need to be there for a "No objection Certificate" (NOC) to go forward with the wedding.

I am just confused, do all Belgian citizens require no objection from the government to marry foreign national?

I understand going to the embassy to register our marriage and of course there is an interview and all that but the embassy asked us for an interview before hand to grant us the NOC.

If anyone has married a foreign national , please help me out?

Dagelijks lezen we over Belgische / Vlaamse problemen in de media. Aan problemen dan ook geen gebrek in België, maar ik vroeg me af welke problemen mensen belangrijker vinden dan andere. In een eerste fase wil ik een lange lijst maken van problemen. Nadien maak ik een website waar er gestemd kan worden om tot een ranglijst te komen.

Hieronder de eerste Belgische problemen die in mij op komen:

- Te veel politiekers, parlementen, gemeenten, ...

- Partiecratie en het gebrek aan macht voor parlementsleden

- Te grote partijdonaties

- Maximumpensioen te hoog

- Te veel schulden

- Begrotingstekort

- Te hoge wedde voor parlementsleden en ministers

- De (gevolgen van de) klimaatopwarming

- Te veel bedrijfssubsidies (zonder voorwaarden)

- Te veel belastingen op arbeid

- Te weinig belasting op vermogen

- Managementvennootschappen

- Salariswagens

- Te veel extralegale voordelen die inefficiënt werken

- Te veel fraude

- Te veel belastingontwijking door grote ondernemingen

- Te veel subsidies voor Katholieke kerk

- Te veel subsidies voor koningshuis

- Bevolkingsinkrimping

- Te weinig huisartsen en tandartsen

- Overbevolking gevangenis

- Justitie te traag, onderbemand

- Te weinig crèches

- Scholenkoepels niet efficiënt

- Slechte onderwijsresultaten

- Te veel oplichting en phising

- Te veel studenten voor beroepen met lage arbeidsvraag

- Te veel Immigratie

- Te veel landbouw

- Te weinig natuurgebied

- Slechte waterkwaliteit

- Geen 100% rioleringsnetwerk

- Slecht waterbeleid met overstromingen als gevolg

- Te veel bureaucratie

- Overheidsdiensten niet goed of onvoldoende gedigitaliseerd

Is everything going downhill? Are these the budget cuts? Corporate stinginess?

Or am I just getting older and disappointed?

Nothing works, and everything and everyone wastes your time, energy, and money.

When I go to the store, they don't have what I need.

So then I have to go to another store or order it online.

Instead of sending it to my house or the post office, they send it to some obscure shop or place on the other side of town,

which is almost never open. So I have to play postman myself.

Things you buy are sometimes already broken when they arrive or broken after a year.

If you received a message from the government or the doctor, it used to be via letter or email.

But now they have eBox, MyFin, FartBox, the Helena ap, and who knows what else,

as if I'm going to remember and check 100 sites every day. For about a year now, they’ve only been collecting the trash every 2 weeks, and you’re limited then,

because you only have one container. So I get to play trash man myself

and take garbage bags to the recycling center.

I haven't seen the locket (human ticket counter) open at the train station in the past few years.

What are you supposed to do if you have questions?

If you want to contact a company or something, they send you to to an AI who doesn't understand you.

I could go on like this, but I think you’re tired of the nagging by now.

EDIT: I know these are small problems, and I cant really complain. But its still annoying.
Like a death by thousand cuts. It often feels like that series "the good place" Like yes I'm not starving and have a roof above my head, but I keep needing to solve problems, and society just keeps me busy with endless nonsense.

Het is precies weer de tijd vant jaar. De top 3000 op nostalgie is pas gedaan of de top 2000 op JOE is bezig. En op stubru de jaren nul top 500. Ik ben fan van dit soort hitlijsten, tis dan eens niet elke dag dezelfde liedjes.

Maar wat ik mij altijd afvraag, en wat ze nooit zeggen is hoeveel stemmen elk liedje heeft. Is er een groot verschil tussen de nummer 1 en 2? Hoeveel stemmen heeft Rhythm Divine van Enrique Iglesias die dit jaar op 1999 staat in de top 2000?

Bedankt om massaal te stemmen zeggen ze dan altijd maar wat is massaal?

Ik zou zo graag eens mijn neus in uwen krullenbol steken.

Paul Gheysens heeft miljoenen geleend van Ghelamco en moet die nu niet meer terug betalen. Ondertussen geraakt Ghelamco in steeds slechtere papieren.

Ik ga er van uit dat Ghelamco een raad van bestuur heeft. Hoe hebben die zo'n enorme leningen kunnen goedkeuren en het dan nog eens ook ok vinden om die kwijt te schelden? En de schuldeisers, die gaan daar ook mee akkoord?

Zitten hier bedrijfseconomen die de logica kunnen uitleggen of is dit gewoon "mijn wil is wet" van Paul Gheysens?

In practice I have to book at least a day in advance because otherwise there are no busses available. Not to mention the last flex bus is apparently at 22:00 which is pretty early, imo.

Deed dat vroeger ZO graag als hobby! Met borosilicaat, thuis in de studio boven m'n ouders :)

Helaas moeten opgeven omdat ik naar een appartement ben verhuisd, en niet elke huisbaas is blij met een propaanfles van 18kg EN een zuurstoffles van 20l in hun woning :D

Het is wel een totaal andere scene dan zacht glas (zoals Murano), Want ik weet dat er in Sint Niklaas lang een glasartiest zat die met zacht glas werkte. En zacht glas is ook het glas vaakst gebruikt om kralen te maken op de brander.

Ikzelf heb cursus gedaan in Tilburg, met een Duitse artiest als leerkracht. In de VS is die scene SUPER groot! Maar voor een of andere reden, gaat die daar wel hand in hand met de cannabis scene. Dus je zal veel bongs en pijpjes vinden op de meeste Amerikaanse subs ;)

Zijn er studios in België? Ik heb helaas geen insta, want daar zitten ze wel vaker op, maar tis m'n ding niet :)
