feedback wanted 19yo based in Sweden - Fresh project, would love some honest feedback on the feel and mix
Hey guys,
Alberto here!19yo producer based in Sweden here. Just finished up a brand new project and I’m looking for some fresh perspectives before I take it any further.
I’d love to hear from both everyday listeners and fellow producers.
Let me know what kind of vibe you get from the track, how the overall energy feels, and if the main melody actually stays in your head. For anyone with an ear for the technical side, I’d also appreciate your thoughts on the mixdown and if there is anything you would change or tweak in the arrangement.
I’m always trying to improve my sound, so all honest feedback is welcome.
Thanks for taking the time to listen.

collab request Open Cypher/Challenge on a Boom Bap Beat (Mac Miller reference) - Multiple MCs wanted!
Hey! I’m opening up my latest beat for a community collaboration project.
I put a Mac Miller acapella on it as a reference for the vibe, but the beat is ready for anyone who wants to spit some bars. This is NOT a contest for just one winner. I want to build with multiple artists!
Send me a private message to get the clean beat.
Record your verse/video.
I’ll be sharing and collaborating with everyone who joins to cross-promote on our socials and build a solid network together.
Let's make something dope together hit my DM if you want in!

feedback wanted My first beat, any thoughts?
So I've made my first beat today, unfortunately I'm only limited to 8 tracks at once (Ableton Lite). I've put Benny The Butcher - Legend vocals on it. I welcome any constructive criticism :)

resource Android app with a quick beat sketchpad (7 kits, WAV export) and a deep artist search for finding references
A lot of beat ideas show up when you're away from the main setup. You're on the bus or waiting somewhere, a groove pops into your head, and opening a full DAW on your phone feels like too much.
VibeScout is an Android app with a built-in beat maker called Beat Lab. It has 7 kits and 10 one-tap styles, so you can get a rough idea down fast. You can export beats as WAV and finish them later in whatever you normally use. There's no account, sign-up or login, and your beats stay on your device.
The main part of the app is music discovery, which can help when you're looking for new reference tracks or want to hear what's going on in a scene you don't know well. You type in one artist and it runs a deep search through direct matches, related artists, genre scenes and underground branches. You get back a ranked trail of hundreds of artists you've probably never heard of. Each one shows up as a card with a 30-second preview. Swipe right if it's your vibe, left to skip, up to save it. Each artist is tagged with a hidden gem rating, listener count and genre tags, and you can filter and sort the results.
To be upfront about limits: it's Android only, previews are 30 seconds rather than full songs, and your first 3 searches are free. After that, a short ad unlocks 3 more.
It's here if you want to try it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kennethwahl.vibescout
Question for the room: when you sketch beats on your phone, do you want a quick one-tap starting point, or do you want to build everything from scratch even for a rough idea? I'd also like to know how you find new reference artists outside your usual rotation.
Disclosure: I'm posting this on behalf of the play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kennethwahl.vibescout team.

question Macbook Pro M1 32gb vs Air M5 16gb?
Hi, I'm looking for a MacBook for music production. I usually use six instances of Serum 2 or Zenology, and some plugins like Shaperbox 3 and Portal, which are native to FL Studio. I'm torn between a Pro M1 with 32GB or 16GB of RAM and an Air M5 with 16GB of RAM. I currently have a desktop PC with a Ryzen 7 8700g and 32GB of RAM, and it works perfectly, but I need portability. Could someone please help me choose? Thanks!

discussion Hi my name is Ray Ray and this is my story
I made this beat on Fl studio and I was trying to capture a Kanye West type of sound . I think I did okay. I just don't know what to do at this point
