Personally, I’m waiting for Candle Day to see what they bring out this year. I’d rather save my candle budget and see what the new collections have to offer.

Just wanted to make an appreciation post for Bath and Body Works for being my escape and my happy place. Smelling my collection and watching YouTube videos about people talking about bath and body works is my sweet escape from my house of terror. I live in a house with domestic violence, not from my partner, but other household members and I love to get lost in my own little world of smells and nostalgia

Just a fun question, but also important research that may be useful in my near future!
Side note, I’m Gen Z (late 90s baby) so if you were around for this scene I’d love some stories or to hear about other non-B&BW fragrances these women might’ve been wearing!

Had a rough week with my best doggie friend going to the rainbow bridge and then some other family stress, so I decided to stop in a store after dinner for some candles. I had my eye on Crispy Cookie Edges for a while so picked that one up while it’s still early. The Always Fleur and the preserves plug were on the fall sale table.

I tested some other stuff as well that I am going to hold off on. I want to get Vanilla Cocoa Flurries and All Eyes on Her on my next trip. I also have like three coupon books now…lol.

So anxious to get this...

was going through my collection and came across this scent, it still smells so amazing. i believe i got this june sas 2022? wish they would bring back fun scents like this one!!

what are some more lesser talked about scents you wish to see come back? this is definitely one i’d love to see again! (mainly cause i only bought the wash)

Went in for the BOGO 3 wick and left with this instead. Not much to choose from at my store but leaves works for the next month and football season is subtle but smells so good!
Laundry day is also amazing! Never bought it but impressed with the scent output!

Also where is all of the Book Loft?? Are they discontinuing this scent? It’s nowhere in store or online anymore 😫

My husband is a football coach & I thot he might be interested in the Football Season fragrance. But he’s not one to want to make the trip to the store to smell it, so this was gonna be an online purchase. I told him I can look at the scent notes to get an idea of what it smells like:

Autumn Air- is that the air in the locker room or in the stadium?

Fresh Fallen Leaves- leaves from what plant?

Warm Flannel- is that the sweaty flannel shirt thrown in the laundry basket?

I know a lot of their scent notes are helpful. But there are also a lot of very nebulous descriptions that are not helpful when trying to make a decision.

Anyone know when snowflakes and cashmere is typically released/when it’s coming out this year?

Raspberry is my favorite scent, seriously! I can't be more pleased!

Is anyone else experiencing some of the more elaborate wallflower plugs falling and crashing onto the floor because they are heavier than what the plug can sustain? If so, what are you doing to keep them from falling out?

Last week I went to BBW and spray tested the new everyday luxury Trace of Blue on my arm.

I had been testing a sample of Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue Eau de parfum (does not have the apple of the Eau de toilette and I think more ambery woods) all week to see if I liked it.

I remember loving the Light Blue Eau de toilette because of the lemon and apple. But I do find the Eau de parfum of Light Blue has more woods like a softer version of Infinite Radiance in the dry down.

I have been on the fence about Infinite Radiance, liking it some times. I thought I could check out Trace of Blue since people were saying it had an Infinite Radiance vibe too. But I hoped softer.

Anyway I have Saltwater Breeze (also said to be a Light Blue dupe) from earlier this year and found it does kinda go detergent on me. I have grown kinda out of love with it.

So with mixed feelings I went to try Trace of Blue, also hearing that it was like Saltwater Breeze. I can say that Trace of Blue is not an exact dupe of Saltwater Breeze. It does still have some detergent notes like Saltwater Breeze (which Light Blue EDP does not have), but much less of it. I think it also has more citrus notes in the opening.

If you like or don’t mind Saltwater Breeze, I think you’ll like Trace of Blue. If you don’t like Saltwater Breeze, you may find Trace of Blue more tolerable but still too familiar. In my head I think Trace of Blue is like halfway between Saltwater Breeze and Light Blue EDP.

The Light Blue EDP is a smoother fragrance, more mellow somehow. But it is also quite unisex, just like a bit cologne at times in the dry down in the Infinite Radiance sort of way.

I still think I probably like the Eau de toilette the best, but haven’t smelled it in a long time. Maybe I would not like it as much if I smelled it again?

Anyway I think Trace of Blue probably is like the Light Blue EDP more than the EDT going by what others have said. I’ve also heard people say it’s like Light Blue intense (is that different?).

I was going to blind buy Trace of Blue with the sale last week but ultimately am glad I didn’t since there’s just enough Saltwater Breeze in there it would feel like a duplicate to me.

Happened to find Raspberry & Pink Lily in the back of my collection while I was trying figure out what I wanted to smell like after my shower and I took the time to smell it again. I wanna smell like it but I only have a few more times to wear it before I'm completely out😭
