Hi, friends. BTS' first ever live album, the "Permission to dance on Stage - Live" album was released a little over a year ago. It's still on regular rotation for me, and I was listening to it today when I got hit with a thought and immediately wanted to talk about it with everyone else here.

So what hit me was -> this is the most hype, goofy and happiest little album and I don't think we will ever get anything quite like it again. The concert series itself is already quite underrated, with tannies themselves not mentioning it among their other tours. There was no album promoted with it. If you look at the tracklist, besides a couple of songs from BE, it is literally their biggest hits put together, and with all seven on stage for each song. There is no big concept, or storyline. Like the name says, they just wanted to make us dance and sing along.

And this is exactly why I think it's so SPECIAL, and why a live album makes perfect sense! It's so fricking immersive, in the best way. Throughout the album, except for Blue & Grey and Black Swan, it's just BTS having the time of their lives hooting and hollering, yapping, adlibbing and giggling their way through every track. I can't help smiling so big every time I listen to it. That the album is 1 hour and 18 mins long is an extra blessing. The best way I know to put it is that they were so unshackled for these concerts. Till today, I find new things to love and laugh at when I listen to it.

Just from today, listing a few of my favorite moments:

• "BST" sung to Fake Love's instrumental, transitioning to the original track and Fake Love's extended outro 😭 they perfected perfection with this!
• The "kimchi!!" at the end of "Life goes on" followed by the sound of enthusiastic clappers always makes me giggle. Hobi is so funny!
• "Jimin-ah, exactly what are you so curious about?" should be the way every "Boy with luv" performance is started actually. Also, Joon decided to rap his entire verse off-beat, and it makes my day every time!
• There's a part in Butter where Yoongi decides to adlib "Let's go!!" right as Joon does his usual "do the boogie like", and it's so funny 😭
• The entirety of Telepathy, starting with the infamous fall, is just them having too much fun, doubling and repeating after each other for every line, and Hobi doesn't stop talking even at the end hahah
• Tae's little "sky, sky" adlib at the start of Wings 🥹
• "Stay" to "So What" might be my favorite transition in an album, ever!
• Jimin is perfect in IDOL with all his adlibs and growls, and i adore his lower harmonies so much
• On Dis-ease, right as Joon starts his verse, JK adlibs "pleasee" in the sassiest little tone and it's the best thing.
• Spring Day PTD Live version is my favorite version of Spring Day for multiple reasons, and a big one is Seokjin's soaring "ooh whoa ohh"s at the end. His voice is so, so beautiful!

Has anyone donated materials? I am downsizing and can’t keep albums and other materials in boxes. It’s not a lot of stuff but I feel bad just throwing it in my donation boxes to local thrift stores/donations. What have others done in this situation?

Hi! Like the title says, I’m currently working on my master’s thesis on digital fan labor (free labor fans do out of love, not expecting economical retribution, just because they want to!) with my case study being Latin American ARMY.

(¡Hola! Como dice en el título, actualmente estoy haciendo mi tesis del máster y mi caso de estudio es el fan labor (la labor no remunerada que hacen los fans por amor, sin esperar retribución económica, simplemente porque quieren) del ARMY latinoamericano.)

The survey should take (much) less than 10 minutes and touches on digital practices such as content sharing, participation and engagement level, and the symbiotic relationship between BTS and ARMY! It’s completely anonymous, but I do ask about age range, the country you live in, if you have your own income, gender and academic level (though these last two allow you to not disclose this information) in order to analyze the data from the survey. Rest assured this information will only be used for this purpose.

The only requirements for this are to live in Latin America (non-Hispanic countries have been excluded due to the nature of my thesis and the survey being in Spanish) and to love BTS! That’s all :).
