Hi everyone!

This is my new OC Tsaley, a Na’vi from the Tlalim clan who barely escaped with their life after their caravan was attacked by raiders. They managed to escape on their ikran with their life, bearing an eye injury that left their left eye permanently blinded and disfigured.

Tsaley crashed their ikran near a Metkayina village and was rescued by the daughter of the leaders, who nursed them back to health. Tsaley and Akulukan, the tsahik and olo’eyktan’s daughter, both have major crushes on each other but neither realise, so are both stuck in an awkward pining limbo.

These were put together through extensive study of the films, comics and the games! I wanted to have some voice guides that can help me to keep the character canon voices consistent! Especially for characters like Jake and Neytiri, who have a very particular style of speaking.

These are fan-made, so if there is something wrong, just let me know, and I'll fix it!

I've just published the first chapter of a new Avatar fanfiction I've been working on, titled Empty Mouth, and I wanted to share it here!

This one is a little different from my usual writing. I've always been fascinated by the darker possibilities of Pandora, particularly the things the RDA might have left behind, and I wanted to explore that through a psychological horror story centred on Jake and Neytiri.

Summary:

Neytiri knows her mate.

She knows the sound of his footsteps, the weight of his hands, the scars on his skin. She knows the shape of his voice when he is frightened, and the way he says her name when no one else is listening.

Ten years together have taught her every part of him.

But deep inside an abandoned Sky People facility, something has been learning, too.

Something that has been waiting a very long time to meet Neytiri.

This is an amazing thread because I had this question rolling around my head “What would happen if Varang would reconnect to Eywa or have seen the powerful connection of Eywa through Kiri’s kuru overwhelm when they connected? (for Kiri to Protect Tuk & Netiri)” And upon understanding the movie as well as searching for other answers I found that Varang would have to come to grips with having to face her clan that perished again, having to face her clan that’s alive that she lied to out of trauma, pain, and fear, and realizing that Ewya is not just this all powerful Goddess as the Na’vi make her out to be. That just like Grace said she’s a neural network of consciousness and memories. Eywa would not favor specific clans, but only see/feel as much as the living life forms see/feel and wouldn’t have known about the eruption unless there’s some sort of archaic tool to tell surrounding villages about earthquakes/volcanic activity like we have on earth before advanced tools and technology. To then communicate to Eywa letting her know and telling other clans through the Spirit Trees that geological change is occurring. “It’s like saying nobody’s going to know about it unless you express it..”. Varang is just letting her/their trauma eat herself/Mangkwan and lashing out like the wounded animal she/they are at this point. This leads me up to my Big Question: Would the Na’vi learn from the mistakes that have befallen Pandora and the mistakes of ‘the befallen’ of Pandora to make for a better Pandora together as a species, and how would the story of such an evolutionary climb be told? I guess we’ll have to find out, or make our own fan fictions of it lmaooo.💙🩵💚🩵💙
