Does any hardware clone of any version of the ST exist on the market (with midi ports)?

As per the title.

I just found a load of stuff for my old atari st, notably a functioning screen.

Even more notable a box of 3.5 floppies that contains an improbable number of Cubase arrangements, and this triggered a memory that makes me want to integrate an ST in the studio again - basically, you could push the boundaries with Cubase (to put it very quickly), and after looping an arrangement a few times without stopping it, the midi messaging would start becoming erratic at times, leaving out messages and resulting in Cubase auto-creating drum-breaks and such. I want that “feature” again!

Were any ST owners disappointed with how few classic arcade games got official ports?

I owned an Atari 800 and 130XE, and loved the classic arcade games. They seemed to almost all get ported to the Atari 8-bit computers, many other 8-bit computers, and most video game consoles of that era.

I wanted an Atari ST very badly, but couldn't afford it, so sadly, I never got one. Now looking back, I realize that had I gotten one, I would have been seriously disappointed by how few classic arcade games got ports to the Atari ST. At that time I just assumed that of course all those great arcade games would get ported to the ST (and be awesome on it).

Just wondering if anybody in a similar situation to me back then got an Atari ST, only to be disappointed by how few classic arcade games got ported to it?

Not to say disappointed with the ST in general, just that you couldn't play your classic arcade favorites on it.
