Random Question What's the weirdest reward tip you ever got?

I used to work at Radio Shack and there was an older gentleman that always waited for me to help him bc I was the only employee that treated him like a normal customer. He always needed different types of batteries, which he brought in to show us, making the transaction very easy... but would purposely tip me $0.25 each time. I found this adorable and would thank him for the nice gesture. My co-workers told me he would leave if I wasnt working that day.

He came in one x-mas eve and 'tipped' me a miniature spoon from Hawaii. :)

How would you feel if you always go out of your to respect others but get NO respect back in return (like never), you get treated like shit, you only get thought of when things need doing and you don't get asked you get demanded and then you go and to whatever you've been demanded to do and then get told it's not good enough (even though you've done best). Well this is my life 24/7. It's affecting my mental health to the point that there are more times than ever that I'm getting panic attacks and I've got nobody to go to. 🤬😭😭 (these are real tears that I've got right now even just writing this).

Random Question Is making food for people who do you a favour quite a cultural thing in the Filipino community?

Both my mum and dad work with two Filipino ladies in different jobs. My parents work in different schools, and both of these ladies are cleaners in these schools.

My Dad had moved some really heavy things for this lady, and she was SO grateful. And my mum offered the other lady a lift home when it was raining really heavily one day. Again, this lady was also really grateful.

The next day, both of these ladies brought in loads of containers filled with meals and desserts they had made and gave them to my parents as a thank you.

They both got home from work with bags of food from these women and told their similar stories.

And I wondered if this was the norm in that community? 😊

(The food was delicious too)

Random Question What's something about getting older that nobody really warned you about?

I didn't expect how much of adulthood would involve dealing with things you don't really know how to deal with, but have to figure out anyway. Car trouble, health issues, family stuff, things breaking at the worst possible time

Mine is just a graffiti I saw when I was on the train "Mes nuits sont plus belles que vos jours". Roughly translated to "My nights are filled with more beauty than your days"
