Name your favorite piano performance
In a rock or pop song, that is.
For instance, I personally rate the intro to Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull highest. But I'm sure there are superior pieces.
In rock and pop, that is.

What’s a song that makes you feel uneasy every time you listen to it?
I remember the DJ played this song during a school dance and I almost had a panic attack.

End of the world
I saw a woman post a question on instagram today that I thought was very intriguing. It was, if the world was literally ending right in front of you and you can pick one final song to listen to, what would it be?
I know this is very cliche but for me it’s Stairway to Heaven by Zeppelin.

Have you ever had a “magical” moment while listening to an album or a song?
I had one once when I was listening to The New Abnormal by The Strokes. What I remember is that I was listening through my earphones while lying down; the lights in my room were off, and if I’m not mistaken, the sun was going down at the time. In that moment, I felt like my whole body was floating, and it was like I’d entered a state that went beyond just listening to a song. Do you think vibes, atmosphere, and things like that can bring out the full potential of an album or a song? And do yo have on "ritual" when you want to play one specific album or song?

singing career advices
Hi there,
I'm new on Reddit but I'd like to have some thoughtful advice on how to be a singer and actually make music.
I don't know much about technical vocal training or whatever is related to it. I was born with a talent and I learned how to copy artists, especially Ariana Grande. I started liking her at a very young age and progressively tried to sound more like her. Even a friend told me we had similar voices (mine is lwk raspy tho). A few years ago, a cousin said that I sounded like Billie Eilish. I can go into lower ranges too. The thing is that I'm very anxious but don't worry, I'm only getting better. I just hope in two years I can invest in this idea cuz I think I have the potential to be listen to by, at least, a small community. I have no idea how the music industry works and I lwk need someone to help me. I'm still in highschool, which means I'm limited in my actions. I thought of posting TikToks about it, but it only works if you have a certain amount of followers and enough likes.
But I can write songs, except that I still need help.
I probably do not sound like a professional; maybe I wasn't so clear or went out of context, but I did my best writing ts. If you have any questions, I'm open to responding.
(English is my third language btw).
Tysm for reading.

What genres would you say have the best lyricism, and worst lyricism across the board?
As a whole, not individual artists.
just something that piqued my interest recently
