Trying to make an abandonned city on a superflat world every propositions are welcome

Been building this house in creative and I'm not sure what else to add to the outside. There's a pool, some plants and little garden area already but the area around pool still feels bit empty. What do you think would fit?

Essentially a mod where I can have a few soldiers, just a few that follow me around, that I can give some simple commands to like "follow, stand guard, attack"

Maybe armed villagers

Maybe hired pillagers or something else

Essentially the simplest mod I can get for this, no extra features
