Patron [Hiring]

Hello everyone for time making a request but I have some Scary Characters I want drawn almost like how Pokemon cards look with in depth and Joints. I have several and will do repeated Commissions if the first ones are good. I'll offer 100 for the initial job after completion if revisions are needed after I see good effort put forth I'll offer 20 dollars per revision. I am a little picky but that's why I added the revision price as well. I'll add an example of what I want.

The Jester- (a small Jester doll that has two holes for eyes, it is made of cloth and porcelain, it looks possessed moves like it's pulled on strings, despite it's small 1 foot size it's surprisingly resilient and smart though borderline malevolent. She doesn't speak any known language only clicks and clacks and chirps. She has a magic inventory which she puts anything that can cause pain in like broken glass.) for this I'd love the small character to have a bit of depth and maybe have her clutching a small shard of a plate, her eyes of course are completely hollow while her little Jester suit is colorful. She'd look janky like a puppet on strings. I have a several others as well I just want these characters brought to life for my own collection. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I won't be responding to DMs and I'll reach out if I'm interested in working with you. Thank you again.

Patron [Hiring] Confident / Creative 2D Artist to add in “finishing touches” for upcoming Visual Novel Video Game!

Hello!

*Note: This post is for filling the role of a 2D artist to draw in or add additional details to existing Visual Novel Backgrounds, for an upcoming visual novel video game.

**Also, please note: I am looking to have an artist actively draw in details that will intentionally “clash” with the existing art style of these backgrounds. (That is to say, please do not worry about having to try and make everything look “natural” and “fit in” with the existing scenes. With the art direction I’d like to take with this particular game, that is actually the opposite of what I’d like to do here.)

Just to clarify a bit more, I’ll go ahead and attach some visual examples (from a different game, not my own!) of some “before” and “after” examples of what adding details to a visual novel background might “normally” look like. (With that, once again, please keep in mind that you will not be asked to try and make everything look perfectly “matching” like the “added-in details” look in the below example. This example is simply a more “typical” approach to this sort of thing, and I would actually fully encourage your own creative + artistic freedom with however you’d like to make the added details / items / props “stand out” in the scenes, be it having the objects appear unnaturally colored, done in a completely different or perhaps more “cartoony” art style, pixel art, more “realistic-looking” art, etc., etc., etc.)

Finally, please note:

•Absolutely none of the mentioned backgrounds that you’d be adding onto / drawing over were made with “AI” in ANY way whatsoever. With that, anyone who uses “AI” in ANY part of their work “process” need not apply. (I humbly ask that you simply respect my views on this and do not waste either of our time.)

•My original budget for all the background art to be complete was set between $1000 and $5000 , though I truthfully do not know what to offer as a price range / budget for this “background edits / additions” Artist position.
-With that, I would greatly appreciate your (at least “ballpark”) rates for this sort of work so that way we can both begin on the “same page” before we even consider moving forward on this together.

•There are a total of (approximately) 40 backgrounds that would need things to be added into them / edited into them. Though, once again, this post is not searching for someone to create 40 background art pieces. That is the number of separate, already existing backgrounds that you would be adding some details onto.
(With that, I truly hope the large number “40” will not “scare away” anyone who would otherwise be interested, especially since I hope for this to actually be relatively “simple”, “quick and dirty”, hopefully genuinely “fun” type of work.)

•All of the locations have fully written descriptions that I will provide you with, and all of those descriptions very clearly state any “key” details that must be included in your “background editing” work. (That is to say, outside of maybe 1-3 objects per room, you can really “let loose” as much or as little as you’d like, so long as those important “key” details are included in one way or another.)

•Please, to have us starting off on the “same page”, I would also greatly appreciate if you could please roughly “ballpark” how long you think completing this work would take you.

**Of course, I would never look to “rush” an artist or really anyone at all, and I will absolutely always prioritize “quality” over a “faster” job. With that being said, the vast majority of this game is already complete and ready to be shipped to the developers, so obviously I am realistically looking for someone who can get this done efficiently and effectively. (while still making sure any “key details” from the written descriptions I will provide you with are included, of course.)

•If you could also please directly attach a few examples of your work that may be even somewhat relevant to this particular job, I would greatly appreciate that as well!

….

In short: If you like the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney games, if you like the Danganronpa video games, or if you even like the Persona 5 video game / its “spin-offs”: I would love to have you!

In truth, I’d say I’m looking for a genuine human being who has an actual interest in this sort of stuff, above all else. (That is, for this specific task, I truly want this to be a “Have as much fun with it as you’d like!” sort of job, with as much or as little “artistic freedom” to be had as you’d like.)

As this game now approaches the “final stretch” of the vast majority of its key pieces being finalized, completed, and put together, I’ve come to greatly value clear, open, genuine communication pretty much above all else.

With that being said, if you actually cared enough to skim through this excessively “long-winded” post of mine, and you also feel confident in your abilities as a (2D visual) artist, and you actually think this job sounds like an even remotely “fun” time: I’d absolutely love to hear from you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to scroll through all of this, and whether you think you’d be interested in taking on this job or not, I genuinely wish whomever may be reading this a genuinely great rest of your day and also a genuinely great day tomorrow as well!

……

Thanks so much!
All the best,
-KM

*End note: If (digitally) “vandalizing” a bunch of rooms and hallways with slaps of colored paint and crudely written graffiti writing sounds like fun to you: Please, apply for this job!

**Also, obligatory clarification that this is absolutely NOT an “+18”, “adult”, “eroge” type of visual novel game. Again, if you like Ace Attorney, Danganronpa, Persona, etc., I feel (and hope) that this would be a happy fit for you!

I'm looking for someone to draw:

- Full body, at least with basic shading/rendering

- SFW

- No complex background, maybe not a background at all

- Preferably with the manga artstyle, but can be negotiated

The drawing should be finished by December

My budget is 20-40€, not that high so I'm not looking for anything very high quality, just something I can afford 😅

Closed [Hiring] 3 Pieces, Artwork for Audio Drama to be released on Spotify and Major Platforms. NDA Required. Budget is 300$ USD | 100$ USD per piece

Hello Hello! I'm looking for an artist who'd be able to do 3 different works. One will be a Landscape (1920-1080) piece that Includes both a Human Character, and a Dog within a desert/Sahara environment. The next piece is essentially the same environment with the same two characters, but it will be at night around a camp site, this piece is for an album cover, so it would be square (1x1 / 3,000 X 3,000 Pixels).

The final piece would a vertical portrait (1080-1920) for a close up of both the Human character and his dog companion.

I hired another artist previously from Draw Market to do a basic sketch/line art for the character and the dog, for you to use (Image is attached). I do still have the other pictures used for inspiration from when I commissioned that sketch if you'd like them.

If you're available for commissions, please let me know your rates. Though my current budget, is about 300$ USD for around 100$ per piece. I am open for negotiations.

I will DM whomever I choose, but the DM will be to give you either my Email or Discord username as those are my main points of contact.

Finally, one last thing to mention and this important do not skip it.

All 3 pieces are to be used as art work for an Audio Drama / Narrative Fiction Podcast that I am creating. As such, you will be able to show the work on your portfolio & will be credited, but I will need you to sign an NDA that will legally prevent you from leaking any information about the show that you may receive when we discuss how I'd like the artwork and the character design to be done.

An NDA means I would be asking for personal information that will go on the document. Including Full Legal Name, Address, and E-Signature.

Sketch Work by Miyotte on Draw Market - 16$ USD Commission

(Please let me know mod's if I have broken any post rules so that I may fix them)

Closed [HIRING] OC Fantasy Concept / Outfit Design $220 budget personal use

Post image
131 Upvotes

Personal use, need a redesign for my oc here ^

New design will still keep her features (face, body type, skin colour), tho most of it is designing an outfit and possibly a hairstyle change while keeping the original hair colour and texture. I'll provide more refs when commissioning.

Looking for:

  • Concept sketch ideas (3?)
  • Flat coloured or rendered final design
  • Fantasy character design
  • I can consider any artstyle but semi-realism is preferred
  • Deadline is 2-3 weeks / 14-21 days
  • Budget $220<, 50/50 payment
  • Payment is through VGen / Wise / Paypal or Ko-Fi

Please also have character design examples in your portfolio! A price sheet or an estimated price would be really helpful. Please don't raise prices to meet my max budget. I cannot consider commissioning if I don't see character design examples or if you haven't drawn any fantasy characters before.

Please be able to work within the deadline, I've just had some bad experiences in the past with communication, so I do prefer an artist who is happy to communicate and respects the deadline.

I'll be crossposting this until I find the right artist, you don't need to comment twice if you see my ad again. Thank you!

(also i prefer communicating on discord or insta. reddit glitches a lot for me so I lose dms and i literally don't even get notifs here)

EDIT: alot of yall are showing portfolios without any character design work and no prices . if u wanna be considered read above 🙆 im ignoring the ones without character, outfit or concept designs. only reach out if ur comms r currently open as i plan on commissioning as soon as i can (no waitlist)

again dont showcase just regular art im just interested in concept, outfit and character designs. ty to the artists who read my post 😭 do not comment if u cant work with my terms (deadline/budget)

I wrote a piece of flash fiction for a writing contest and I'd like to have a cover for it that effectively portrays its tone and mood. My budget would be around $50 - $150. Looking for someone who is proficient/experienced in drawing landscapes, surrealism, and sea life. As part of the commissioning process I'd like you to read the story (500 words) and let you interpret it how you feel.
