Good day everyone,
The previous thread(s) got old and archived, and needed a refresh anyway, so here's the newest one. The previous directories can be found at : https://www.reddit.com/r/ARK/comments/1ik9ox7/megathread_server_directory/
and https://www.reddit.com/r/ARK/comments/1muzllg/megathread_server_directory_pt_2/
so you can still browse it if needed.
Reminder of the rules: One post here per server, open advertising is still restricted to Sunday's only. Posting outside of that will still result in a ban. This will also start included unsolicited adverts as replies to random threads; i.e. the answer to "Can my level 1000 rex beat gamma broodmother?" is not "Join my server and see".
Please adhere to these guidelines for this thread:

Hey guys, I've seen lots of questions online about how to self-host clusters, and I've noticed that many guides out there are very daunting and technical. So, I've taken it upon myself to write a very simple guide that can help anyone host their own cluster, even those who know nothing about hosting servers. This guide is for Ark Survival Ascended (ASA) only.
Before we begin, there's a few things you'll need:
I've created a set of scripts that you can download that will make setting up & configuring the server extremely simple.

The Config.cmd file will hold some basic settings for your cluster. The file is annotated to explain what each setting does.
StartTheIsland.cmd is a script that can be edited like the Config script, and which can be copied & renamed to let you set up multiple maps. Each copy of this script will configure one map and is what you run to start running that map on your cluster.
Here are the steps for setting up each map:
Now if you want to set up another map:
Your maps are ready to run now. You still won't be able to join them, but we should do a test run now to make sure you haven't missed anything and to populate some files for later.

Some important things to know about the server:
You should see a new folder called "config". This is a shortcut that will take you to where the server stores Game.ini and GameUserSettings.ini. These files control the in-game settings, such as taming, harvesting and levelling speeds. You can also set a server password & admin password in these config files.
There are too many settings for me to cover, but they generally cover the same things you can modify when configuring a singleplayer game.
The wiki explains the possible options for Game.ini and GameUserSettings.ini. If you need help setting these up, send me a message or leave a comment and I can help you out.
This is the hardest part, and it's what turns most people away, but don't be scared. It's often easier than people expect. Ask me for help if you can't figure something out, don't just give up.
This is going to be different for everyone. The steps to port forward depend entirely on what router you own. I will write generic instructions, but you are probably going to need to look up a tutorial for your specific router brand.
First, you must find your local IPv4 address & default gateway:
Now, log in to your router:
Now, forward the ports.

Just a few last things to know:
If you have questions, feel free to leave a comment, or message me here or on disc (my username there is dankmeister). I'm very willing to guide people through the setup, and I will update this post with common questions or issues that come up.
Since people have been having trouble with setting up the Game.ini and GameUserSettings.ini files, I've uploaded my own examples. These are the files I use on my own server, they do not have every possible setting, but they can give you a good starting point.

Here is my idea for a possible Carno TLC.
MODEL: A newer model and textures, matching the new graphics. Even small changes to the model result in significant pattern changes.
WILD: It now appears in groups of two animals. It is a very territorial animal. Everything up to its own size is its target.
ABILITIES: A typical bite attack, a headbutt attack that produces high knockback and strong bleeding. A 180-degree turn (which can be used to perform quick evasion maneuvers). Similar to the Therizinosaurus, it can be leveled individually. Its horns change depending on what you level (more raw damage or more bleed damage).
So what do you think of it?

I couldn't think of anything that isn't just...[ceratosarus 2]...sense let's be honest the ceratosarus is what we all imagined the carno TLC being so i ask YOU how would you make the carno TLC that isn't just cerato but again?

I still prefer ASE over ASA. Evolved can definetly look amazing without high oversaturated visauls. My computer can't handle ASA's optimizations.

Megalania is genuinely terrible right now which is sad because it could be such an awesome tame. The path of titans megalania is a really good example of how good this creature could be. Ark's megalania has a terrible model, bad mobility outside of its climbing, and even then there are better options, and it is pretty much useless in combat. Path of titan's megalania has an amazing model, animations and mobility, it is a fun all terrain creature that can climb, run and swim which i think would be a great place for the ark megalania, not really good at anything specific but able to traverse all terrains. I'm not saying that ark should copy the path megalania but it is a good example for how amazing this creature could be

With the Crystal Isles vote most likely being the next one coming up some time in the near future, I thought it'd be good to go ahead and announce that I'll be repurposing my Center/Valguero creature submission for Crystal Isles! Irritator was actually always kind of meant to be my submission for this map, so I hope it does even better than it did last time!
I commissioned the incredibly talented laind004 to draw the dossier back in 2023, and the rest of the (admittedly very silly) art is done by myself!

After getting back into ark after staying off it got a while, I randomly had the urge to play sotf and after realising its barely a thing anymore i researched and I read up on the new rework thing there doing to it. Wasn’t it meant to release in July tho and is there literally any news on it?
Also probably a slim chance but is their any servers anywhere online where I can Que custom ones with people

Hey everyone I’ve been playing ARK a bit again lately, and I’ve been wondering.
If there was a PvP server where a lot of the high tech gear and certain creatures were removed to make the game more primitive, would you play on it?
What do you expect or want it to be like?
Would rates and stats be lower or higher?
What recipes and creatures would be removed?
I have been contemplating this myself lately and I’m thinking about trying it out on a server.

so im wanting to start a singleplayer game to do all the story maps on asa and i want to buff a few player stats like weight and crafting skill but for some unkown reason it seems wildcard made the ui infinitely worse and i cannot see any way whatsoever to mess with player stats on any of the screens at all. i've read through each tab thoroughly and nothing.
can anyone explain this utterly downgraded from ase user interface to me and tell me how to modify player stats.

Is there(or could there be) a mod that buffs rock drakes and reapers? Wether it increases their stat scaling or simply makes them spawn at higher levels, idc
Rock drakes are worse than wyverns in every way. All they have is the advantage of a saddle. They are only worth using to travel on aberration(where you aren’t allowed to use any better methods of travel) and they are pretty weak in terms of stats
Reapers are pretty strong, but it’s not difficult to make a simple megalosaurus be stronger than one. Also I think they desperately need some kind of mechanic that allows them to do full damage to nameless without a shoulder pet activated. Being forced to remove your own armor to avoid nameless is really dumb imo
Rock drakes and reapers are two of the coolest creatures in the game, and it’s a shame they are completely outshined by many other creatures that are a fraction of the effort to tame. If there was just a mod that made them better I would really appreciate if somebody would call it out

I believe last time I checked some sort of roadmap, it said fjordur was December 2026 release - I’m not too sure if it’s been asked already, and it is wildcard… but is this still scheduled for this year?
