Sometimes people use this video as evidence to argue that humans are stronger than chimpanzees. But can we really draw that conclusion?
It may indeed show that a chimpanzee cannot simply overpower a human through brute strength. However, the chimpanzee never even attempts to bite the human, and it doesn’t really look like it is engaging with the person with the intent to kill them.https://youtu.be/ZtucwBlNr3A?si=-OhNR808uFV00ncQ

Which would win in an unarmed fight to the death: a chimpanzee or an average adult man?
It is often claimed that chimpanzees are 1.35 times stronger than humans of the same body weight, meaning that an 80 kg man would be stronger than a chimpanzee. But is strength really proportional to body weight?

Why is this sub called r/ape. What happens if you take the / out of it? Was that on purpose?
Edit: I apologize for this dumb ass post. I need to grow up and not be a jackass.

Little monkey Punch!! Latest update.
Do you remember the heartbroken baby monkey who went viral for clinging to an IKEA plushie?
Well, Punch is officially doing great! He’s pretty much ditched that stuffed toy and is finally acting like a real monkey, spending his days hanging out, grooming, and making actual friends at the zoo where he has been kept.

Kick me out of the community if you want. Bonobos have sharp teeth tho.
We can also beat gibbons, but never kill apes IRL and don't go near them unless theyre in zoo glass
