Hi everyone!

We are students of Multimedia and Creative Technologies at Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences (KdG) in Antwerp. For our research project, we are investigating how people living near Antwerp’s industrial port understand and respond to information about air quality.

We would really appreciate it if you could take 4–6 minutes to fill out our survey. Your responses are anonymous and will only be used for our research project.

Hallo iedereen!

F*cking amazing concert, didn't get good videos, if anybody could send me some it would be amazing.

All love.

Thank you.

Hi Antwerp!

We are two students from Antwerp exploring an idea: affordable, relaxed evenings where people watch big football matches together on a big screen. We'd keep it alcohol-free (or at least not centred around drinking) and open to everyone, whether you're a die-hard fan or just come for the atmosphere.

Before we build anything, we want to know if people would actually want this. That's where you come in. It takes about 5 minutes, it's available in English and Dutch, and it's anonymous unless you choose to leave your email.

Every answer helps, including "I'd never go to this" 😄.

Thanks a lot!

Hi, does anybody know if the traffic restircted Zone (Uitgezonderd plaatselijk verkeer) at the N420 is controlled by any cameras or only by the police?

I went in there by accident (Google maps...) and now I am scared that I need to pay a fine.

I just wanted to come on here and say Antwerp is amazing. Recently visited for the Fortnite global championships and it was amazing. Also the food is so fresh and amazing. Architecture is gorgeous and the people where wonderful. 10/10 hands down would visit again. Chez Albert waffles where incredible and Leonidas chocolate is the most incredible chocolate in the world. Anyone considering visiting just do it 🙏

Hi!
Planning to enroll at Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp next year.
MA Graphic design/realted program

Would love to hear from current/former students — how’s the teaching quality, studio culture, and overall satisfaction? Also curious about the experience as an international student (integration, language barrier since I don’t speak Dutch) and cost of living.
Every perspective is unique so happy to hear anything, good or bad. Thanks!

Hi, what are some of the unique experiences that you can do when visiting Antwerp that isnt that well known? Any tips from locals would be realy awsome!

Please can anyone suggest a good place to go for moules and frites? The big challenge however is that one person is vegetarian so it has to have veggie options too. Our hotel is just directing us to the usual touristy haunts round the main square - many of which don’t cater to veggies well.

It’s a tricky one for a Google/claude search.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

I'm from Ghent but I love Antwerp too.

When my friends Ulf and Jessika came over from Germany, I took them to Antwerp as well. I showed them the many nice places, but they did not only use their eyes. They experienced the city with their whole body, felt the many different textures that make Antwerp so interesting – both to inline skaters and people in general.

I may be a little biased, but I'm truly convinced rollerblading is the best way to explore and discover a city. You just gotta avoid the cobblestones. 😉

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for a personal stylist or shopper in the Brussels / Antwerp / Mechelen region who specializes in or is genuinely great with plus-size styling.

As a young mother, my body and lifestyle have changed, and I feel completely stuck in a rut. I want to find a functional, modern everyday style that makes me feel confident, but I really struggle to find clothes that fit well and suit my shape now.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone down-to-earth who works with real-life budgets and can help with:
- A wardrobe audit to figure out what actually works for my body right now.
- Finding flattering shapes, cuts, and colors.
- A guided shopping trip or capsule wardrobe curation.

If you’ve had a great experience with a plus-size-friendly stylist in the area, please drop their name or website below!

Thanks so much!

When my mom visits in the fall, where should I take her for kip curry (lunch) + Vol-au-vent en stoofvlees (dinner)?

Alvast bedankt voor jullie aanbevelingen.

Hi, first time visit to Antwerp planned for this Thursday. We're going to the fashion exhibition and a few other galleries and staying centrally, so going to need to find somewhere for lunch/dinner and will go out for some drinks - we're three guys, 40s, interested in culture/music/design, anywhere you'd recommend that's worth checking for food (needs to be vegetarian friendly) and good for the evening? Anywhere with decent music/DJ on would be a massive plus. Thank you!
