LOOKING FOR APP Widget Quick Settings App

Hi all

I'm looking for an app that would essentially give me a way to bring some of my quick settings drag down controls onto my home screen through a widget.

The ones I've come across either don't have a widget, don't allow me to customize very well (ex: one app had several pages, but I could only remove apps from pages, not add apps to consolidate onto one widget page), or they don't work when I click on the icon (happened for one app that otherwise seemed promising). One of the ones that *did* have a widget didn't work well - instead of toggling the function like the icons do in the quick settings menu, it opened up the settings in the phone. šŸ¤”

So! If anyone knows of an app that essentially makes the quick settings menu into a functional widget, please let me know!

What you want is rare as a pure ā€œQS panel cloneā€ widget — most ā€œcontrol centerā€ apps either open Settings or fake the icons.

Stuff that actually toggles:

1) Custom Quick Settings tiles (long-press edit QS → add tiles from apps). Many toggles live there even if the home-screen widget is junk. 2) Shortcut Maker / Activity Launcher → pin specific system activities, then put those shortcuts in a folder/widget. Hit-or-miss per OEM. 3) Automation apps (Tasker-style / WHEN→THEN macros): make a home shortcut or QS tile that runs Wi‑Fi / Bluetooth / Data / DND toggles via intents. That’s the reliable ā€œtap = toggle, don’t open Settingsā€ path when the pretty widget packs fail.

If an app’s widget only opens Settings, drop it — that’s a permissions/API limit, not something you can fix with layout tweaks.

tasker or macrodroid can put a home screen shortcut on a toggle so it flips in place instead of opening settings. some toggles like mobile data are locked down on newer android though, so check that one first

There's an app I used to use (and still have installed on a tablet and a phone that haven't been updated to Android 16). It's called Power Toggle.

You can build custom widgets for your home screen and include quick opening of any app on the phone as well as setup toggles for various specific settings (such as toggling screen brightness, turning on/off wifi or BT or whatever) and more. Custom choices for icons and colors and other customization stuff.

It's really the app I most miss and wish I could still access.

Depending on what OS you're running, might give this a try
