i bit the bullet and got addy + her christmas dress about a week ago, and just finally unboxed. i was removing her from her packaging when i started crying and didn’t stop while dressing her up, and taking this picture…she meant so much to me as a young black girl, and she means even more to me now :((

this lady had SO much stuff. unfortunately no dolls but hey im not complaining! all of this stuff was in sealed bags inside of a plastic tote so its all in great condition!

questiom about the dress on the far right (second photo) is it AG? i couldnt see a tag. the clothes have 1986 pleasant company tags !

Her neck is stamped pleasant company but she has the later version of the meet dress, oh myyyyy I would’ve never guessed she was Pleasant Company stamped because the condition of her wig is probably the nicest and smoothest of any doll in my collection!😭❤️❤️ The face paint is immaculate and it gets better because…. She came with her undergarments, her socks, her shoes AND IT CAME WITH HER SUMMER DRESS AS WELL🥹 I’m losing my mind I’m so excited! I already have one pc Felicity but she looks aged for sure, this one however seriously blew me away! Sometimes the same doll can just look so different and this one is beyond special in my eyes. I’m a huge lifelong Elizabeth lover and my older sister had Felicity growing up so their collection always gets me but my goodness she’s a stunner !!

Obviously I had to get it, and I’m not gonna lie, it was weird, but also pretty darn good.

My mom and I had a lovely day at the Chicago store, we got our dolls’ hair done (hers is Lulu, TM 90, and mine is Corinne). I also got a TM110 whose name I haven’t decided on yet, and got her hair done too in a sweetheart braid! She’s so incredibly cute and the hairstyle works so well on her.

I have to share this!! I snagged this buy off Ebay and it finally showed up today! I got all this for under $600!! To me it seems unbelievable!! Its not perfect condition, but its really good! I am so pleased!! I have wanted this collection ever since I was a child!🥹🫶🏻 What was the best buy you ever snagged?

Here are a few of mine, starting with my pride and joy, Jo from my favorite movie Twister 🌪️ Her outfit is a hodgepodge of various AG pieces but her jacket tied around her waist (to simulate her jumpsuit) was custom sewn!
The others in order are my Studio Ghibli girls! (Which, if you did not know, is a Japanese movie studio that’s been around since the 80’s. Gorgeous movies, I highly recommend them!)
- In both her seamstress-made iconic green dress and later blue dress is Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle! A friend made her dresses custom for me and I think they turned out beautifully! 🔥
- Next is Satsuki from My Neighbor Totoro in her summer dress from Etsy and little Totoro friend that my sister crocheted! 🌸
- Lastly is Marnie from When Marnie was There! I’ll admit I’m still not the happiest with how her makeup came out but I was still learning! Still am! (Though I may end up remaking her at some point 😅). But her iconic dress was also seamstress made and super soft. 🌙

I feel so lucky. I just recently a NIB Kavi in the low $200s. She’s my most expensive doll. I really really love the MG mold and Kavi has been on my list so I but the bullet. Tonight I’m on FB marketplace… $15 dollars! 15!!!! I messaged her and ask if she was still selling really for $15. She said yes so I drove over as fast as possible (legally). She’s basically perfect. I’m FLOORED! I feel like I should play the lotto or something.

Just opened my new kanani doll and she is BEAUTIFUL!! wondering if she’s new face mold or old! im thinking old but am not certain! what do you guys think?:)

I went to the Joy Doll Hospital event today to volunteer and hear Valerie speak. Vibes were immaculate and the whole day felt like a warm hug.

FYI if you hold grudges never feel guilty because TIL that a boy spraying Molly and friends with the hose on Halloween is from her real life! She even named names🤣

They are ordered oldest to newest and we have Julie, Saige, Kenzie, Lila, Alice, Papillon, Frankie, Nellie, Syl, and Judie!

Now that the colder months are rolling in i decided to make Fig a winter hat. 🥹 I know it looks big but I made it spacious enough for her hair so its not completely squishing it down a bunch. I want her curls to be taken care of. I feel it came out a perfect size for her. I made the tassels long because I make my human size ones long too, i just think its pretty. Think I'm gonna make her matching leg warmers next!

I just got the Samantha book in the mail, and was not expecting it to have this super cute sprayed edge. I haven't started reading yet, but I hope the book is good!

I found this really cute winter/fall outfit on Amazon for my AG doll that fits super well on her! My only complaint is the sleeves are a little shorter than I expected. However, the attention to detail is pretty great especially on the sweater and boots.

I was visiting friends in another state and we stopped by their Once Upon a Child on our thrift adventures. I found an absolutely perfect condition Josefina piano for $40!!!! I couldn’t believe it, it’s been over a day and I’m still in shock.
