Love JRW, fantastic voice, poet and incredible story. However, my loyalty to Isbell won’t allow me to miss his Thursday night show @The Ryman. Forgot to buy ticket production for the former so I just want it to go to someone who will appreciate it and actually attend! Just don’t want it to go to waste, Joshua deserves all the support. Let me know and I am happy to transfer for free. Cheers

What a fantastic show. Captured this full song from the balcony rail at Thunderbird Music Hall in Pittsburgh. Enjoy.

Tom Hartman (one-man band, Netherlands): "Storm", new single

Disclosure: this is my own music.

"Storm" is a dark folk 'n blues song with a Celtic feel, written when my hallucinations had just started. It's a sailor's journey through a storm: acoustic guitars are the wooden ship, the drums are the thunder, the bass rolls like waves. I play it live as a one-man band with guitar, harmonica and stompbox.

For fans of Dylan, Tom Waits, The Waterboys and 16 Horsepower.

Looking for some feedback😁 thank you❤️

Super excited for the new Fanny album coming, absolutely love this one.

Wyatt McCubbin’s debut LP 650 has that great traditional county sound. It has some nostalgia for several generations. “Gunsmoke” hit home for me as it took me back to my last days with my grandfather. Give it a spin!

Eilen Jewell has built her career on smart, lyrical storytelling and a rich sonic amalgam of folk, country, blues, early rock, surf, and other American traditions. The Idaho native made her debut in Boston where she was signed to her longtime label, the Massachusetts-based Signature Sounds. Albums like 2007's Letters from Sinners & Strangers and 2011's Queen of the Minor Key drew critical acclaim and comparisons to artists like Gillian Welch, Jolie Holland, and Lucinda Williams, but Jewell's dark-hued pastiche of styles was her own signature blend.

Eilen Jewell - Nowhere in No Time was Eilen's debut album. Released as a CD-R in 2005, this album is fully lost. I asked Eilen about it after a show a few years back and she indicated she no longer had the masters, so it would unfortunately not be possible to reissue.

The album details are set out on discogs and allmusic:

Will set you right

Sorry to self-promote, but I poured my heart, soul, and spite into this record that came out today. This one was inspired by Hayes Carll, Sturgill Simpson, & Todd Snider. My daughter made the stop-motion video to go along with the music. You can find the whole album (The Waterline by Parademaker) streaming everywhere today. Thanks and I hope you'll give it a chance!
