I thought these were a myth until I stumbled upon it

Guess I’ll be spending my day off tomorrow building this guy. Can’t wait!

A bit bulky but the rotating mane gimmick works well when you put the extension arms in the proper places. Everything feels solid and the colors really pop. I think my favorite detail is the eyes being color separated with translucent orange. (Note the teeth do not come in silver I did a little gundam marker magic to make them match the Realize Shield Liger.)

Played the game back when it first came out when I was a kid and am giving it another go around for nostalgia's sake but wanted to refresh my memory on a couple of points before I get started.

• I remember that Pulse was a bit finicky in regard to the colours that determined skills/stats being dialogue dependant, so what colour/skills are best to aim for?
• Is there a single recommended pilot growth type, or does it depend on the individual pilot?
• Are all of the pilots viable, or are there some that just shouldn't be used unless you really like them? I remember that some of the pilots had skills that seemed like self-debuffs when I was a kid, but it's a bit foggy.

Looking back at my childhood, I firmly believe that the old Godzilla movies my Dad introduced me to played a huge role in shaping my lifelong obsession with Zoids. There was just something about those giant, unstoppable monsters stomping across the screen that captured my imagination. It’s not hard to see how that fascination eventually carried over into the world of mechanical beasts.

And what a time to be a fan of both franchises 😀

Godzilla Minus Zero (Gojira Mainasu Zero), the upcoming Japanese kaiju epic written, directed, and featuring visual effects by Takashi Yamazaki, is arriving in theaters this November!

Meanwhile, here in the United States, you can actually walk into a Hobby Lobby and purchase a Zoid from the RMZ (Realize Model) lineup! Something I never would have imagined seeing again all those years ago!

For someone who grew up with both Godzilla and Zoids, it’s pretty incredible seeing these two Japanese icons enjoying the spotlight once again.

Not sure if its all blue ray Blade ligers or I got lucky but this felt so much better to build in just about every way than my Blade Liger AB. I will say I definitely have more experience in building the hmms so that probably helped but it feels safter to pose , move , and overall just doesn't really explode. Just so much happier with this than the 2020 AB even if its not 100 percent perfect

No junk ones this time and Collection Only, but the rest of the 5 or 6 packages for a while are almost all junk lots. Note that the last ones were bought in late August 2026, with these being early August or earlier. Time from purchase to arrival is 1 - 3.5 months, depending on finances. 2 weeks is possible, but it is pricy.

Jiutian Kunpeng is the initial release version, which has purple parts as well as the blue parts. Why this one? I am expanding into other model kits and resuming LEGO, but that will likely be February 2027 due to reducing hobby money and redirecting almost all money to other things first. Sonic Bird was just thrown in to help with shipping costs (sounds weird, but true).

Hi,

Does anybody have any leads on a zoids themed license plate frame?

The first one that comes to mind is one of those "my other car is a zoid" but I'm thinking a little bit more subtle like rz041 or some other font from the franchise.

Otherwise, I'm considering just supergluing a hella topcoated zoids core or some other spare parts onto a plain license plate lol.

If anybody does custom work, I'm in the Atlanta area.

Evening all.

I'm currently working on a sort of sudo GUI text adventure based on ZOIDS.

Its a long way off of completion but I have been making good progress on getting the bare basics working (Its been literally 2 days at this point)

Eventually I intend it to be a sort of all encompassing free-roam text adventure game with full access to all the Zoids I can get decent sprites for (I'm borrowing some of the old Zoids Saga GBA sprite, I'm already waste deep in someone else's IP at this point so why reinvent the wheel) needless to say its not going to be going commercial or anything. Its strictly a fan made, fan fiction kind of thing. If you want to see what's been done already, here's where its at at the time of posting this (Mac OS and Windows):

I have done a full 100% byte for byte accurate decompilation to clean C of the first Zoids VS game for GameCube! Now im starting on the initial translation work!

After a long time, I finally finished my first custom! Shadow Fox Aura. The mother of pearl colorshift is very tricky to photograph. I learned so so much with this, and cant wait to work on my next.

The photos are me practicing with photography- dont mind the lighting and such. Later few pictures show off the colorshift!

Another kit done from my backlog. Had some issues with the silver, and rather than stripping and repainting I decided to grunge them up. The diorama base is from the MSS Godos kit.

Hello everyone, update on the Zoids Legacy Expansion. Going forward, I'm naming this project Zoids Legacy Plus

The patch now includes the Zoids Legacy Retranslation, so you get the new Zoids and the Retranslation in one patch.

What’s new in V2.0:

• Real-time Zoids roaming on the field
• Scanner (L button) to check a roaming Zoid’s team
• Attack animations for the imported Zoids, taken from Saga (DS)
• Hit effects on the enemy that match the attack (claws, blades, beams, missiles, etc.)
• CAS for the Genesis Zoids: Murasame Liger changes into Hayate and Mugen, Bio Megaraptor into Bio Volcano, and Buster Fury joins the Berserk Fury CAS line. Develop the forms with Develop CAU. Evolt units drop from Hayate, Mugen and Bio Volcano.
• Lab Fine Tuning (trade one stat for another)
• EP Balance: EP cost goes up the more you power up a weapon. The new Efficiency upgrade lowers EP cost in exchange for some attack power.
• Auto Battle: the game picks your moves for one round and fast-forwards automatically
• Retreat now asks for confirmation
• New title screen

I recommend backing up your save before patching. Your existing save should still work.

Use a ROM patcher of your choosing. The patch needs a clean Zoids Legacy (USA) ROM.
