After having played around 40 hours (and haven't finished it yet) I can already say that I like Zero Parades much more in terms of how you play the game. While in DE, your "carry", guide and companion during the whole thing was Kim Kitsuragi, in ZP you work alone without any companion most of the time, discovering the world by yourself in a more sad and autodestructive sense.
The system of losing abilities when reaching the limit of your anxiety, fatigue or delirium makes you not fall asleep in dialogues, having to constabtly pay attention to those stats in conversations, checks and so on, and having whatever drug or drink that balances a bit your unstable character.

The characters overall are very well made, I would say many npcs have more soul than the ones in DE. The development of the story is more climatic, there's more action, more deaths, more interrogations and plot twists. The art design is very beautiful and has nothing to envy to Rostov's drawings and paintings.

I still feel ZP lacks some good music that we used to have in DE (Sea Power) and a deeper lore. I think it is interesting that we don't have more music in ZP considering that Ultra Violeta, the Luzian Idol, is used by La Luz as a softpower tool to conquer the rest of the world.

Since in this world there is no such thing as the pale or any fantastic/sci-fi entity appearing in the background to add even more lore to the story, the characters of ZP rely more on their own background stories, more action coded and even tho there are many political elements, they're only there on the surface, and don't have the depth as in Disco.

But regardless, I am enjoying ZP much more than I enjoyed my first DE run.

I am aware of the drama going on between Kurvitz and others with the studio, but what can I say. I am just a normal person and don't wanna get caught in the middle. I just want to enjoy good games. Of course I do not approve what happened and i wish in the future Kurvitz gets back his IP to keep writing about the world of Elysium and making more games based on that world. For now I can only supoort him spiritually because there is nothing I can do besides that.

I know for sure many ZAUM haters bought the game in secret to afterwards rant in youtube comments all day telling everyone how bad ZAUM is

I'm near the end I think, getting read for that final thing. I have essentially no tasks left at this point.

First question:
How can I watch the reality situation?
Does it need to be a specific TV and/or the time listed on the poster is inaccurate?

• I've talked with the scrapper and had some discussions about time.
• I've called the line. I've tried different TV's between 13:00 & 22:00 which I believe is when it should be on.
• I read the sign near the bazaar, but I always get the same basic show information.

Second Question:
I don't seem to have ascertained the time of the litch's arrival. aka 'the Gap' afaik.
I really want to figure it out without getting the help from the man with no heart (roleplay, he's sus af)

• I know the location & unless I'm mistaken I've got enough compatible people ready to go at the bar. I've got two guns as well.
• I talked about trading UV for the prisoner, but decided to get her a passport and she's gone.
• I can't get back to the prisoner, but I can talk w/ him on the phone
  • haven't passed the white check, I'm not a very purple sort of spy
• I shook down the junior negotiator and he seems to have spilled what he could.
• I talked w/ Dutchess about what she knows regarding the Gap having talked to the junior negotiator.
• I met with the Emter agent in the bar, she seems to have told me what she would,
  • I probed her mind w/ the Dutchess technique (no makeout session for me)
• Nothing so far seems to show me that I actually know the time of arrival.

I might take up the offer from the man soon, but I was hoping/thinking I should be able to avoid it. Was the UV exchange the only way to do it?

Solve:
Yeah, I guess I just needed to bite the bullet and talk w/ the man with no heart. His questline also opens up more bagman options and resolves what I felt I was missing there.

Trying to go for the bomb ending and I can't for the life of me get the squatters to tell me the song name. I passed the ghost check. Saw the scene with the chair upstairs, by the table next to the squatters and by the graffiti in the basement. Also got the bomb. But whenever I show them the bomb, they play the song but there is no check to get the songs name.

I figured I will go to Carmuna and ask her but the asshole teases me the song is at the tip of her tongue but never says it.

Is there some quest I should have advanced before they would tell me the song or something? Can I get the song name by any other means, maybe when they go to the silo?

The newest xbox trailer had a bunch of surreal cutscenes where it looked like there were some cgi animation things.

Does the actual game have scenes like that? Or is that just for the marketing?

Is KALEIDSCOPE what ESTOC means by EMTERR getting in touch with me? I thought he only showed up because I was messing with his stuff, but is he the only way to get Dante out? If there's another way don't tell me and I'll try to figure it out, otherwise I'd rather not waste my time.

I was just curious and suprisingly I havent found any info on this but how many days does it take at minimum to beat the game? Like with DE its pretty cut and dry because you have to sleep but with ZP you technically dont need to sleep so you can get alot more stuff done.

I,m confused about paying the game on switch 2 or ps5 but I’m more concerned about the quality of the of the game in the switch 2 is it the same pr there is some difference?

Sup guys, I have two questions:

1. How old is Cascade/Hershel? Not sure if it is mentioned anywhere. If not, any speculation?
2. If I am running the 2nd charisma build, do I have to max out statehood too alongside nerve? Are there any other points worth taking in the other branches?
3. Does the phonesex guy reveal the location of silhoutte after the interrogation scene? I have talked to him before the mission to breaking into tempo's office, but he just walks away and doesn't tell me anything.
4. Can you pursue a straight relationship in the game or is it just only with other women?

I was at the very last scene. I used the disc in the tram, saved yana only, next scene on the boat, melita's call ended in the middle of the conversation (just said end instead of continue and closed the convo), I didn't even get a grade. yana was there and was the only thing interactable but i was stuck in place so I reloaded my game and now every ally if here, saying their lines from the bar before the ending.

Of course i have single write on so my last save is 35 hours of gameplay ago
This is by far the most frustrating bug i've ever had, not sure what caused it but having encrypted saves sure doesn't help

The game's main clock is in 24hr, but Umbral Host's violation description (and maybe other parts of the game) go by AM/PM.

Hi! Wondering what’s up with this. I’ve beaten the game twice before and never seemed to have a problem finding this thing.

This time I used my high Technoflex stat to pass the check to hotwire the shelves, but I can’t find the disc in the archives for the life of me?

I don’t remember this being an issue for me before - am I missing something I need to detect it?

I’ve exhausted all of Hauzmann’s dialogue on the matter as well as all of the dialogue in the archives themselves.

Without the disc I can’t progress the quest or trigger the event where the metal stripper woman tries to rob you.

UPDATE: the commenter saying that this was a controller glitch was correct - I used the touch screen on Steam Deck to select the left-most shelf and it worked. For some reason both shelves appear as a single intractable object.

Wondering because I learned the technique from her during the ‘gap’ quest, but was unable to use it in on him even though she requests that you report back to her afterwards.

I’m guessing I was locked out of this interaction because I’d already used Ramses’s crickets to bug the Miracle Line and figure out that we have to meet SILHOUETTE. Weird though because I was still able to intimidate him with the Doppelgang check wearing the suit lol

Has there been any change on how you get the call? As i understand, it triggers after the prisoner exchange and completing deal with transnational capital subquest. But as it was, you'd have to hold off recruiting a party slot or delay procuring a gun, or you'd be shoved to the endgame right after and barred from sleeping and getting the call.

So i'm curious if the director's cut made changes on the progression to get the call.

I had an interaction with the metal stripper in the silo where let's just say I tapped into the Umbral powers and passed a check so something truly Lovecraftian happened to her and I got to keep my property and it sounded like she did not get to keep her life.

However right after that sequence she is still just sitting outside picking scrap metal out of a puddle.

Intended mindfuckery or an oversight/plot hole?

Does anyone know if there are official plans, particularly for Italian, but also for portuguese, french, turkish and other requested languages?
