On This Day CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PEOPLE OF 🇲🇰 MACEDONIA
October 11, 1961. | BORBA | Page 4
On the occasion of October 11, the Day of the Uprising of the People of Macedonia.
🇭🇷 CROATIA
"The brotherly people of Macedonia, in the most glorious days of our history, demonstrated their vitality, strength, and countless examples of heroism in the struggle against foreign and domestic enemies and traitors. We have forever tied our destiny and directed all our creative forces, in order to build a free socialist homeland and in that way realize the centuries-old aspirations and desires of our peoples for a free, dignified human life." (Tanjug)
🇸🇮 SLOVENIA
Slovenia joyfully joins the celebration, because the long and difficult struggle of the Macedonian people for political and social liberation is closely connected to the national liberation struggle of all the peoples of Yugoslavia, which enabled the working people of Macedonia in the post-war years to transform their homeland into an economically developed republic. (Tanjug)
🇧🇦 BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
"As an integral part of our joint, great, and bright celebration in honor of the jubilee anniversary of the revolution of the peoples of Yugoslavia — it is said, among other things, in the greeting — the holiday of the people of Macedonia reminds us of those difficult but glorious days when our peoples rose up against all those who, in your beautiful land as well as in the other Yugoslav lands 20 years ago, ruthlessly assaulted the freedom and independence of our common homeland." (Tanjug)
🇲🇪 MONTENEGRO
"The entire Montenegrin people joins your great celebration with fervent wishes that in the coming period you achieve even greater results in the socialist development of your republic. The brotherhood and unity of our peoples, forged in the national liberation struggle and revolution, as well as the joint efforts in building socialism, are the firmest foundations and the greatest guarantee of the successful development and prosperity of our socialist community and the People's Republic of Macedonia."
🇷🇸 SERBIA
"In the joint struggle of all the peoples of Yugoslavia, the brotherhood and unity of our peoples was created, upon which all the victories in the national revolution and in the post-war construction of the socialist community of Yugoslav peoples are based. Joining in your celebration, the people of Serbia wish the brotherly people of Macedonia further successes and new victories in building their republic and our socialist community."

💭 Question When I was little I've seen one movie scene but I don't know name of the movie.
I only remember few lines between croatian peasant and officer:
Nemojte mene, ja sam bio partizan u Titovoj vojsci!
Svi ste vi ustaše, i Tito!

On This Day Mir i ljubav

💭 Question Gone with the Wind

💭 Question Has anyone ever been aggressive with you for identifying as a Yugoslav?
Tonight at a bar, an Austrian man who approached my coworkers and I was very aggressive towards me when he asked my ethnicity and I told him I’m Yugoslav. I tried to get away from him and change the topic peacefully and he just kept going. He said “Yugoslavia doesn’t fucking exist“, “Never, ever identify as Yugoslav in Europe, you have to say Bosnian Croatian or Serbian”, and basically just mocked me continuously like I’m a bigot or idiot.
He also said: “Don’t you know Yugoslavia was a communist country ruled by the dictator Tito?” Yugoslavia was originally a kingdom, and either way, Jugosloven just means South Slavic!
Even though he was obviously just a stupid drunk, it still made me so angry, and it honestly shocked me to get this abuse from an Austrian. The reason I say my ethnicity is Yugoslav is because my parents came from Yugoslavia – it’s that simple. I’m also half Orthodox and half Muslim, so I’m not just Bosnian or Serbian or whatever. I would have loved to tell him to fuck off, but I was with my coworkers and some people higher up than me so I couldn’t start a fight.
Anyways, has this ever happened to you, and how did you respond to it?

🗿 History Tuga moja Jugoslavijo
Čujete reči sa Jugoslavija.
Čujete laži kojim su nas 1991 pričali.
Zapada; Nacionalizam i nezavisni put.
Čujete ova marioneta kako priča o spolja bratstvo i jedinstva.
Sirite oštra propaganda, klali ste civila, otimali zastavu, napravili nova identiteta.
Jebem ti Tuđmane; Milošević i Alija i Karadžića.
Svi ste pod jednom rukom; krvave prste.
Rušene ceste i djecu koju plače.

🗿 History Jugoslavija.
